Love Beauty and Planet Coconut Oil & Ylang Ylang Sulfate Free Shampoo - 13.5 fl oz

Be advised, when they change the bottle they changed the formula. It's not the same. They cave to all the people complaining about the lather. Which was not an issue if you know how to wash your hair. It's too soon to tell if it's going to have a negative effect on my hair, but more lather usually means less natural. Be advised it's different and if you have allergies you need to pay attention.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Basically need half a bottle just to cover my hair. And I’m a guy. There is no suds and it just gets in the hair and sticks like conditioner. So disappointing because I’ve been getting this shampoo for awhile. Waste of money

This smelled better than the murmuru & rose to me. It lathers up fairly well and rinsed out easy. But it leaves my hair looking so terrible, frizzy, dry and feeling really rough and stripped.

The consistency is good. Shampoo was foaming easily, even I have a thick hairs and it is not easy foaming from the first attempt. This surprised me. It contains Vitamin B3 Complex, Coconut Oil, and Ylang Ylang, and is formulated without any sulfates, silicone, or parabens. It's also vegan, cruelty-free, made out of ethically and sustainably-sourced ingredients, and the packaging is made out of 100% recycled PCR plastic. From the first time i used this shampoo, it has made my showers seem luxurious due to the amazing scent and the feel of the shampoo and suds while washing my hair. After using the shampoo, my hair feels much lighter and has noticeably more volume. It's also shiny and smooth, and nearly frizz-free. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've got shoulder-length, fine, and thin hair with dry ends, and the struggle is very real. It’s really hard to find moisturizing products that hydrate my ends but don’t weigh down my roots or make them greasy. I received this product for free from Topbox Marketing for testing and review purposes and I was excited to try it because I really like their philosophy/sustainability approach. I appreciate that the coconut is responsibly sourced from local farms in the Philippines and the fact that it's 93% naturally derived with no sulfates, parabens, silicones, or dyes. I really enjoy Love Beauty and Planet’s ethos and dedication to being kind to the planet. In addition, it's free from microplastics and phthalates, which is one less thing to worry about. Obviously it smells great because of the coconut oil, but the ylang-ylang flower oil adds a jasmine-like scent with fruity and spicy vibes. It lathers up nicely, and you don't to use need a ton. According to the packaging, it “realigns strands”, to reduce friction and damage. I don’t really have a ton of breakage, so I can’t say I’ve noticed a difference when it comes to that. The smell lingers in my hair for a while and is really nice. When paired with the conditioner, it hydrates and smoothes very well with minimal frizz.
