We got this shampoo for my daughter because she has dry ends and colors her hair. Her hair became greasy and flat after a week’s use. We assumed it was because she’s a daily hair washer (thick, long hair) and has color treated hair. I used it, after one wash my hair is weighed down (I have fine hair) and my head itches. My hair is dry after one use.

I wanted to love this shampoo because it smells amazing and lathers very well. However, now that I’ve used it for about 3 weeks, I’ve realized my hair is getting greasy way faster than it usually does. In fact, I just washed my hair with it last night and my scalp already felt dirty in the morning. Now towards the end of the day it is VERY greasy and I will have to wash it again. Unfortunately I will be returning this

I love the scent of this and that it is plant based. I recently switched to plant based shampoos and conditioners as it has been much better for my hair and scalp. I have to say I tried this because I couldn't find my usual renpure shampoo when I needed a new bottle. I'm sad to say this was a bad decision for my hair. I have thick wavy hair. This shampoo weighed down my hair like I put glue in it. It also made my hair shed like crazy and I had to comb it aggressively to get tangled out where I can usually finger comb my hair. This is even after conditioning more than once we the associated conditioner. I don't know if I got a defective bottle of what but I am never putting this in my curly hair again. I will go back to renpure and order it online if I have to.

Best shampoo & conditioner I have used in a long time! I had pretty much given up on finding something that cleaned my hair enough but also moisturized. After one use, my hair had more volume, shine, smoothness, and generally looked healthier. I haven’t felt so confident about my hair for at least a year. Been using it for about a month now and it is still just as good. So happy to have found this combo! For reference, I have medium/thick hair, bleached ends, and my roots tend to get oily the day after wash. No oiliness now until about day 3 and even then it’s not bad.

I have long, thick, frizzy hair. I have tried ALL sorts of shampoos and conditioners but THIS brand - especially this scent is my FAVORITE! I love the shampoo and conditioner. HIGHLY recommend using the conditioner because shampooing alone makes my hair super tangled, but the conditioner comes in and smoothes out the tangles in the shower. I don't have to use any other product except a heat protectant spray when styling. I get SOOOO many compliments on how SHINY and healthy my hair looks and it is from THIS product. I wash my hair just about every day and have been doing that for decades and I have healthy hair and scalp. (I understand some people will go 3-7 days between washes, but not me. My hair traps smells and the last thing I want is to go to bed with hair covered in pollens, pollutants, secondhand smoke, etc.) This product is gentle enough for everyday washes.

I have long fine hair, and I've been using this product for over a month. It smells amazing; however, it has left my hair very dry and dull. I've also noticed my hair looks thinner than normal. I will not be using it anymore.

I've used Love, Beauty, and Planet products for years. I stopped to try something new about a year ago, and thought I landed on something good with Function of Beauty. But my hair wasn't as healthy as it could be, and I knew I had to look elsewhere. Then began a 4 month trial period of shampoos and conditioners that I just couldn't fall in love with. About a month ago I started losing a lot of hair, and by a lot I mean handfuls that I would stick to the shower wall so I didn't clog my shower drain. As a 20 year old college kid with some health issues, I was starting to get worried my health was declining despite any other symptoms. I decided on a whim to go back to Love, Beauty, and Planet. And it was the best decision I have made in a while. I have only washed my hair once so far with this shampoo, so I wouldn't normally write a review on a product I have used so little of. But the amount of hair I lost in the shower compared to what I was losing was so mind blowing to me that I had to share. I maybe lost about 6-10 strands of hair in the shower, which is what I was used to, and which is crazy compared to the 50-60 strands of hair I was losing the past few weeks. I'm so excited to shower again and use this shampoo!

i would normally give 5 stars , i loved this line. i’m confused because i have used this shampoo for almost 5 years now and i think the recipe changed as well as the bottle art. my hair does NOT like the formula since the bottle changed looks. giving me bad dandruff and itchy - i never get that. and you know how tough it is to get something in the meantime to help fix my hair and now need to find another new product. sad :(

I love these shampoos and conditioners. They are such a good price point for a clean option. The mandarin scent smells so good but is subtle and not overpowering. The trick to a good lather is to shampoo twice. Always let the product marinate on the hair for a minute or two each time.

This shampoo and conditioner has pretty good ingredients, it rates a 3 on the ewg website. It smells really good and left dry wavy hair soft and shiny. I’m honestly impressed. I’ve used a lot of natural shampoos and most of them are very drying. Also my scalp is not itchy which is a problem I’ve had with several salon brands. The price is really good so I give this duo an A+.

It didn’t feel too heavy which is a problem ive had with alot of shampoo.
