I don't know why the company changed the formula but it's terrible: streaky, hard to work it into my skin, and simply "sits" on my skin rather than providing effective and lasting moisturizing. Others have noticed as well. Once I finish this bottle, I won't use this again. What a shame! I've been using Lubriderm for some 20 years (my fav was with shea butter but it is apparently discontinued), and had to get this one because the prior version was no longer available. What a dumb decision to change the formula! Did anyone other than corporate bobbleheads think it was a BETTER formula?

I thought maybe I got a bad batch but it seems many have the same issue. It goes on white and is hard to spread on evenly. I have used Lubriderm products in the past and had no issues. This isn't the best lotion, that's for sure.

I have been using Lubriderm advanced therapy lotion for many many years and a few months ago i had to purchase new bottle. I thought I bought the wrong kind and after purchasing different bottles I finally realized you have add an ingredient pro-cermicide? It's very difficult to rub on, and is very white and thick! I have to use this newer product more often than I did the product without this Pro-cermicide. Are there any talks of bringing back the product without this pro-cermicide?

I have used this lotion for years and went to go buy a new bottle recently to see not only has the packaging changed but the formula changed as well. It sits on the skin and doesn’t absorb well. Fragrance free is nice but I really liked the smell of the old formula. I’ll finish out this bottle and look for a new body lotion because this one doesn’t cut it anymore.

I’ve used Lubriderm Advanced Therapy for 20+ years. The addition of Pro-Ceramide is horrible. It’s tacky and difficult to rub on my skin. I will no longer purchase this product.

Just tried the new formula. Why change something that works? I’ve been using the advanced for as long as I can remember and it was wonderful for my severely dry skin. The new stuff doesn’t dry as fast which was a big seller for me. It also stays greasy and sticky. I’ll be researching a new brand. Hopefully someone has your old formula replicated. As with all the other people who gave it a 1 star, I agree I hate the new formula. I too have been using the advance therapy lotion for over 30 years and when I apples the new formula I couldn’t believe my eyes. Not only did it not absorb into my skin, the lotion just sat on top of my skin leaving white streaks of lotion that didn’t absorb into my skin. I ended up wiping it off. I refused to use it again. As we speak, I’m on my way to the drugstore to find a different brand, I’m so sad about this as I loved this product so much. Don’t waste your money, research another brand and move on.

When this lotion is applied on my skin, it leaves a white residue. It does not rub into your skin well. Just feels like a dry paste that sits on top of your skin. I was shocked because this lotion is not cheap.

I’ve been faithfully using the Advanced Therapy lotion daily since high school! I saw the new packaging and thought the addition of ceramides would make a great thing even better. Wrong. So so wrong. The new formula is not moisturizing, stays sticky forever, and when it finally does dry down leaves my skin feeling tight and slightly itchy. I didn’t love the fragrance free reformulation, but it wasn’t as bad as this. After 20 years…I’m on the hunt for something that compares to the old formula before my current 32 oz bottle is empty.

My Dr recommended this several years ago. When I saw that it was more expensive than most of the others I almost didn't get it. 15+ years later it's the only 1 I'll buy. You only need a little bit, so it lasts longer. It goes on smoothly- not thick but not at all runny. I have very sensitive skin & it doesn't bother it at all. I'm not a fan of any strong smells so I really appreciate that I can put it on & not smell like a perfume store. When you consider all of its pro's vs. con's (which is only the higher price), to my mind, body & wallet it's clear that Lubriderm is well worth every penny.

This used to be my go to lotion for years but in the last 6 months something has changed. This no longer absorbs. It just sits on your skin as a thin white coating which ultimately gets on to your clothes. I have to literally wipe it off with a towel. Too bad Lubriderm. I will not but this again.

It’s a very weird lotion. It’s almost like sunscreen and it’s really hard to rub in and leaves a residue. I didn’t like it at all and won’t purchase again. I do like the CeraVe lotion for rough and bumpy skin!

I’ve been using this lotion for years, but it seems they changed the formula and it’s no longer a favorite. I have dry skin and this USED to be creamy, leave no streaks or marks, and blended in flawlessly. I would be left nice and soft and moisturized. Since they changed the formula, it leaves a white color and it feels powdery, and does not moisturize nearly as well. Very disappointed with the change :/ please go back!!

I love that this lotion is thick and hydrating and sinks in without leaving a filmy residue. It’s unscented with wears well under my perfume and keeps my skin ashy free all day. I love that it comes with a pump so that my kids can easily apply it too.
