My old deodorant hasn't been working, so I need to find something new. I saw a lot of positive reviews, and Lume said it's aluminum free, so I decided to try it. Although it says it's unscented, it definitely has a very unpleasant scent. I figured I could deal with the smell if it worked, so I applied it after a shower and hoped for the best. Unfortunately, an hour after my shower, I smelled like I hadn't used deodorant. Worse, 3 hours later I could definitely tell it wasn't working. I applied more, hoping refreshing it might help. It didn't. After a week of adjusting, it simply wasn't helping at all. I used Lume for total of 3 weeks to give my body time to get used to a new deodorant, but in the end I had to give up and try something else. For me, this was a waste of money.

Love it, doesn’t make me smell, and it doesn’t have a smell so that’s also a plus… but on really hot/sweaty days I do have to reapply. The coconut scented one burned my skin but I’ve had no issues with this one.

The unscented smells TERRIBLE. Like disgusting. No one should smell like this. I avoid fragrance oil because anything with fragrance or parfum contains hormone disrupters. I would like to see Lume make A deodorant scented with pure essential oil only. It would have to Smell better than this. This stuff is putrid

This does not even come close to keeping the stink away. I put it on and within an hour or so I am smelling like a stinky oniony ogre. I’m going to try to take this back. For $15 I expected it to work even just a smidgen. This was terrible.

I was drawn to this product for its clean ingredients. First time I applied it, it was unscented. The second use onward, it developed this god awful smell…Seems like it picked up bacteria after being in contact with my arm pits and the chemicals reacted with the bacteria. Or maybe there is bacterial growth on the stick that is producing this smell? Whatever is causing this, it’s unacceptable. Lume, you need to fix this formula, because it is the opposite of deodorant. It adds the odor to your pits. I’d be better off wearing no deodorant if this was my only option.

I can’t comment on how well it works because I had to wash it off within 10 minutes. It smells absolutely disgusting. It may be unscented but it certainly smells like a certain body part. I thought it might fade, so I went about some chores. After trying to figure out what the disgusting smell was mid doing something, I realized it was me. Washed it off immediately and threw it away!

I bought this on accident. I’ve previously used the Lume unscented solid stick and it was actually unscented and prevented me from getting smelly for a whole day. The cream formula, however, has a uniquely terrible smell. I surveyed my family and the consensus was that it smelled like spit. I did try to tough it out and use it and for whatever reason it also does not work well for me, unlike the solid stick. Lastly, it’s quite messy. I took it in an overnight bag and after getting moved about there was cream all over the inside of the cap.

Unscented is NOT unscented. I smelled the other ones and didn’t really like any of them so I grabbed the unscented thinking I could really test if it prevented BO, and OH MY GOSH. It smelled horrible in the tube. I applied it wondering if it goes away after contacting your skin but it still smelled gross. I’m convinced influencers are just hyping this product up.

I don’t think I’ve ever smelled something so bad in my life. Which is such a disappointment because it works really well. But it honestly smells like a b*tth*le that hasn’t been washed in a year. Scents/fragrances irritate me, so I went with the unscented. I have no clue how this got created, approved, and put on shelves. Like did no one smell it?????
