Horrible new formula and bought out by Harry’s Inc.! That’s why everyone is having reactions. So disappointing since this was my favorite deodorant.

this might be the wordy smelling deodorant I have ever purchased. I have no idea how there are any positive reviews listed. it smells like hot candle wax mixed a dirty dish rag. embarrassed that I even attempted to try it.

This deodorant has a horrible smell, like sweaty and dirty private parts. Absolutely disgusting. Can’t believe they would sell this as unscented. Definitely returning the product.

I had a bad reaction using Lume. My underarms were itchy and inflamed. Had to consult a dermatologist. Don’t recommend if you have sensitive skin!

Horrible Odor left behind and I was confused why I smelled like a blown out candle!

smells dirty. claims to be unscented but it really smells like bad breath or something

i've been trying countless 'natural' deodorants and tried this. used for a few months with the body wash. initially it seemed to work well together but after a while it didnt notice much difference from before i used it? for the price i had hoped for more performance combined with the body wash. this says smooth solid but i feel like it can cake up on you if not careful . the consistency seems more like a paste than a smooth solid. says unscented but it is not 'scent free' it smells like ...crayons left in the sun with a base note of rubber eraser. the experience of using this is not pleasant. i appreciate the idea behind it and that it is aluminum free...but also why are you waiting 72 hours to shower so i cannot attest to if it lasts 72 hours or not.

Unfortunately, this is my third time trying Lumi, different formulations and scents. Every time, I have a bad reaction with inflamed, red and raised skin. It happened again this time, after Lumi sent me a free deodorant stick when I inform them of my last reaction. They assumed it may have been from the scent of the last one I used. Nope, this original scent gave me the same bad reaction. I even took photos of my underarms, and the reaction. I guess this product does not agree with my skin. I will never use it again.

It’s ok. The cream goes on better. In vented smells funny. Lavender or powder smells better. My husband likes it. I don’t.

I’ve been loving this deodorant, using it for about three years now. My skin is incredibly sensitive and I easily get irritated and redness in my skin/soreness from ingredients. My skin hasn’t been sore once from any Lume products so far

This deodorant just traps the odor and eventually causes bacterial infections. My gyno said biggest scam and you'll eventually smell worse. I got a UTI from using this stuff and I haven't had one in over 12 years. Avoid any all over body deodorants!

I bought the fragrance free one and it gave my armpit a widespread rash that burns and itches. I have never reacted to a product so badly!

Not good, has a very strong chemical smell, couldn’t use it.

This caused a delayed rash and it burns! I thought I was going crazy because I used it for a few weeks, but do a Google search and several people have had the same reaction. Bummer. It was the only unscented (not really), aluminum free deodorant in stock. But I suppose I’ll have to find something else on Amazon or something. Anyway, please do your research before buying.

Can't tell any difference between this deodorant and off the shelf deodorant. Also doesn't last past 1 day and not perspiring heavily.

Very effective at preventing body odor for at least 24 hours but perhaps not longer than that if you’re active. It’s typically not a problem for me since I shower daily but one time I skipped the shower, and my best friend commented on my BO. I agree with others that the “unscented” scent has an unpleasant musky scent that sort of smells like BO itself, but I have a solution for that! I apply Lume on clean armpits, then add a layer of a scented Native deodorant on top! There will be a slight musk from Lume but it fades quickly, and my brutally honest friend hasn’t noticed. Why don’t I just use Native? Native doesn’t last long on active days for me, but I will wear only Native on days I don’t work out like when I’m just working on my computer all day. Also, Native irritates my skin when I’ve just shaved my armpits, and it feels greasy and sticky. Lume unscented + Native scented takes the best of both products: Lume for its longer-lasting deodorising, non-greasy feel, and Native for its nice scent that masks the unpleasant scent of Lume unscented. This was my first Lume purchase. In the future, I may try one of the scented sticks, but they don’t have as many scent options as Native and none are very appealing to me. Still, it’d be nice to only have to wear one since both are pricey. Regardless, the layering effect does work, so if anyone is debating whether to throw away or use it up, try this hack with any other deodorant with a smell you enjoy.

I have sensitive skin and it did not irritate like other sensitive skin deodorants do. I also have HS and this has not irritated that either. Great at controlling smell, I don’t smell of anything which is great.

Ok, I'm old and keeping "down there" stink free is important to me. This product does exactly that and a bonus for me is that it doesn't take that much. A little dab in the right places lasts till next day's shower.

This smells terrible. It is not unscented - it smells kind of like vinegar? So so gross. I’ve been wearing only deodorant for a long time and this is hands down the grossest smelling. I thought once I applied maybe it would disappear- no. I smell worse than with no deodorant at all.

First deodorant that doesn't irritate my skin. It goes on smooth and actually works.
