I have never heard of Lumene brand and this was the first time I purchased their product. The bottle makes the product looks expensive. This serum absorbs pretty fast, my face feels soft and moistured. It's a big plus which it formulated with natural ingredients, i also like that it is not thick and greasy while it moistured my face. It has no fragrance, but i dont like the seed oil scent, good thing is the scent doesnt stay once your skin fully absorbs the serum. I will continue using it. This serum is...odd. I have both super dry and super sensitive skin. My face does not like anything with strong added fragrances or harsh chemicals. Let me start with the positive: my skin did not react badly to this product. However, I didn't necessarily feel like it hydrated my skin either. For the price, I'd expect much more pronounced results. I do think this is an "okay" product overall, but the smell is AWFUL. It smells sour! I hate to say this, but it almost smells like vomit. I wouldn't buy this again. If I want to use an oil-based serum, I will buy a large $6 bottle from Trader Joe's. Theirs doesn't stink and is a way better value. Lumene Arctic Hydra Care Moisture & Relief Rich Oleo Serum is good moisture product for your face. I have used it for a couple of days now. It does say to follow with their location which I did not purchase. I used my regular moisturizer and it was great. I felt more moisturized then normal. This stuff is like magic! I have used serums before and wondered if they made a difference on my skin. There's no doubt that this one works! I've never heard of this brand before. But I was excited to try it because it is vegan and because of the naturally derived ingredients. This product has no fragrances. It is not too heavy or greasy. The consistency of this product is slightly thinner than I expected for a serum, but it went on easily without feeling excessively greasy on my skin. I have incredibly dry skin and enough redness on my cheeks and a bit on my forehead that it probably could be considered rosacea. I'll admit I got this because it's from Finland and I was drawn in by 'natural ingredients from Finland.' I also got it because it said it hydrates super dry skin - and it DOES hydrate. It also holds in the day cream from the same line fantastically. My face feels and looks much more moisturized, and it feels smoother. However: 1) There's a smell. 2) They need to make better pumps. If you barely press on the pump, a very small amount comes out. If you press on the pump normally, it squirts out everywhere on your hand. 3) This helps with the rosacea bumps when paired with the day cream, but not with the redness. I have yet to find a product that reduces my redness, to be honest. 4) This doesn't mix terribly well with other products that aren't from the same line. I have a personal suspicion that it's the seed/berries they say are in the serum. If I could give this three and a half stars, I would. But given how fantastically it hydrates (which is its major marketing point), I gave it four. Given the price point of this product however, I'm not going to be getting it again. I'll go for a pure hylauronic acid serum next time and hope that does the trick.
