My husband followed the directions and didn’t have any problems with the install. The remote is the best part as I can change it when I’m in the bed. This actually fits well with my other wall outlets which makes it great. I’m very pleased and I’d buy more for a few other rooms in my house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a light switch on a wall behind my flatscreen TV and I couldn't access it. This kit was exactly what I needed. I mounted the wired switch back there and then put the remote switch on the wall across the room. The remote switch has a mounting option that makes it look like a normal switch in a wallplate. It looks awesome. Now I can control the lighting from the remote switch and never need to reach behind the TV. One tip - the dimmer paddle is only on the wired switch but you can set one dim setting and then use the remote switch to turn the light to dim (1st press) or full (2nd press) or off. One dim setting was fine for me. If you need more control over the dimming then you would need access to the wired switch.

They take a bit of know-how compared to your typical switches, but fairly easy with the instructions. The smart features work fine, not as easy to set up as I would like, but honestly, none of these really are. Otherwise the rocker has a nice solid feel, the dimmer works great (I love the min-max adjuster to set the dimming brightness). No frills, but definitely a step up from your builder standard switch,

My husband installed the light switch with no issues, he said it was pretty simple to switch out our old one with this one. Then you just mount the wireless remote wherever you want it and that’s about it! The light switch has a dimmer, and the remote will turns the light on to the brightness the switch has the lights at, or if you want full brightness, you can push the on button in the remote twice.
