I washed it once and it kinda turned matted/melted? Feels crusty, it was listed as machine washable, I even had it on low heat but alas now it's a weird texture. If you can figure out how to clean it without part of it melting, it'd be great!

I washed and dried it (king size) right out of the package in my large capacity washer and dryer, and it washed and dried really well and quickly. No shedding or pilling so far. It's the perfect weight for me- not too thin, not too thick or heavy. Both sides of the comforter are soft, so it's really cozy for cold winter nights. I'm really happy with it so far.

Great comforter set! Very warm and comfortable. However if you’re going to be machine washing and drying it you must wash it on COLD and dry it with AIR ONLY, NO HEAT whatsoever! If you use heat when washing/drying, it will cause the blanket to shed as the heat is causing the blanket to break down and loosen where the faux fur fibers are adhered to the blanket. If you wash and dry it using these instructions it will last you a long time, you just need to take care of it properly.
