MAC 24-hour Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner - 0.8 fl oz - Ulta Beauty

I have been using this eyeliner for over 15 years and have not been able to find a comparable waterproof item. Goes on smooth, stays on all day. Can withstand eye rubs and swimming. Get lots of compliments and asked if it's permanent eyeliner. Best eyeliner ever.

Pros: the formula is very pigmented & very waterproof. Cons: the product I received was very goopy & difficult to apply. Maybe I just got unlucky but I don't see myself finishing this tube or repurchasing.

I've been putting liquid eyeliner on my eyes for 25 years now and i dont know why i haven't written a review sooner, but… this is the only eyeliner i use. I've had cat eyes since the '90s and i will be an old lady with them, too and MAC liquidlast is the only eyeliner i will EVERRR use. I don't know how people use sponge tip; they dry out, and they are not bold applications. This is the knly MAC product that is dupeless. Of course it is hard to remove, and THAT IS THE POINT. Sometimes i wear it two days in a row and no one knows. My other plug is Neutrogena makeup removing wipes is the only thing that gets the liner off. Rip the sheets in half, they last longer. You are welcome everyone. This is the only liquid liker anyone should ever use.

I read lots of reviews of people that are upset about the application. The tip is very fine. And it dries pretty quick. I would say you have to be pretty good with liner application before using this product. It is waterproof so it is not very forgiving. You are in full control of your own consistency so you have to know how much product to use at a time. So if you are not great at doing eyeliner or if you tend to mess up often you are probably going to have a hard time with this item. I suggest practicing before using with a non waterproof liquid. Me personally, I absolutely love love love this eyeliner if you are looking for something long lasting. This is it!!! I use this item about 5x a week. And i used it yesterday to get a certification for a dance class. It lasted me the full 8 hour class! I was drenched in sweat! ( I know gross) No smear or smudges! I highly highly recommend!!!!

This is the best eyeliner i have ever used. Long lasting and easy to apply. I cried for 20 hrs yesterday and it was the only part of my makeup that stayed on!

This is the only eyeliner I ever use any more. It is by far the most long lasting and durable eyeliner I have tried. It is a little difficult to apply and the product gets a bit gummy after a month or two, which is frustrating because there is plenty left in the tube. However, the unparalleled long lasting effect keeps me coming back for more every time.

I bought this in a pinch when my normal liner was sold out. And wore it to work when I fell and sprained my knee, and after injury and smacking my face and sobbing in pain all day my eyeliner was INTACT. This is comparable to the NYX epic liner which was my holy grail, in that you need to SCRUB it off at the end of the day but this also goes on so much smoother and blacker than the epic liner. Worth every cent.

Been faithful to Loreal Waterproof Precision Eyeliner for 20 yrs (am in my 50s). Tried every long wear liner, always go back to Loreal (everything else smudges on my oily lids). MAC formula is great-brush applicator is not as forgiving as felt tip.

I've been buying this eyeliner for over 10 years and it's been my go to eye liner. I bought one in September 2024 and the brush material has changed. It's plastic-y, rigid, and hard, which ends up poking my eyelid which kinda hurts. The previous brushes (I have some older bottles to refer to) are softer and more gentle on the skin. Can you bring back the previous brush material?

I've tried so many different brands of waterproof liquid eyeliners and MAC has the best. I use it daily and love it. It doesn't smudge when it is hot & humid OR when it rains. It truly is the best that is out there.

I've been on the search for a COMPLETELY waterproof eyeliner and i've found it. It will survive a hurricane (literally). Water will not touch this eyeliner. Friction will make it crack and fade, but thats what makes it possible to remove. Theres a learning curve with this brush, its NOT easy to use. Once you forget out exactly how to work it, its amazing. It now takes me no time at all.

I wish it would go on sale. I wish they would ship for free.

I needed a waterproof eyeliner that stays put and doesn't flake nor run, especially, in the desert heat. Two Ulta sales associates recommended the MAC Liquidlast WP liner. Three other prestige brand gel eyeliners that I've purchased dried out within less than a month even when I stored them properly and shook the product as advised. I can apply this eyeliner easily in a fine line and slightly sweep it upward for a modest cat eye. It's a dense black, but I can drag off any excess color to apply the amount needed. As other reviews mentioned, it does take a little practice, but once I've applied it the way I want, I don't have to think about it all day.

I love this product. It does lasts 24 hours or when you really need to take it off. I have been using it for the past 15 years and always need it with me. I can get in the pool and come out like if it's permanent make up. If you need an eye liner that can last, buy it, this it's definitely 100% waterproof. I constantly rub my eyes so wearing eye liner its difficult but with this eye liner I don't have to worry about it. The only thing is that I wish they had more colors. (at least brown). but Love it!!!
