Such a bad change! The new formula is not better or improved. It's been ruined. I hate the way it cakes up, settles on ALL my fine lines and just makes my skin look awful. I will be looking for a new foundation from a different brand.

I've tried several foundations over the years. I have combination skin and use a primer. This is easy to apply, doesn't sink into pores and has staying power. Coverage is just right.

Very disappointed in this new formula change. It's cakey, dry, settles in all fine lines, and does not last-wipes off at the slightest touch. I will return the purchased bottle and will look for a new foundation with another brand.

I thought I was going to love this new formula since I absolutely loved the original. Wow, was I disappointed! It's not even close to good. It's really a terrible, different foundation. I will not be buying this again.

This new formula totally ruined a great foundation. It's so bad now. It's light coverage, dry but then greasy after a couple of hours, settles on every line and pore….. it's just so bad now. Definitely returning the bottle.

This is not the Studio Fix I have loved for over 10 years! The new formula is so bad. It's honestly tragic Mac felt the unnecessary need to "reformulate" such a great foundation. It bears no resemblance to the original, its dry, cakey, chalky, settles into all your lines and creases, ends up looking greasy and, for me, made my skin break out. I will not be continuing with Mac for foundations if this is what they are selling.

I seriously have not felt pretty since they changed the formula. I haven't been able to find a foundation that doesnt work how the old formula used to. I used to use this on all of my clients. Never again! Reading through the comments everyone agrees. They should just bring the old formula back. Not sure what they were thinking.

I wore the original studio fix for years and I absolutely HATE this new, and definitely not improved formula. It's unbelievably bad! It's very light coverage, greasy, settles into every pore and line in my face. It makes my skin look horrible! I'm on the search for a new foundation from a different brand now.

Do not buy this new formulated Studio Fix, it is nothing like the original! This foundation looked like I had been wearing it for days! Cakes up, greasy with a sand like appearance, accentuating all your pores and wrinkles. I hope they bring back the original!

I will not buy this foundation again. It's not the same one I've loved for years. The change Mac made is not a good change, they some how made it "cheaper" it feels and performs at very low quality but with a high price.

New formula is so bad

I'm a little late to the new formula since I had a second bottle of the original Studio Fix and that lasted me a while. I wish I would have known this was my last bottle before MAC ruined the foundation by reformulating it. This new formula is not good! It has none of the great qualities the original had. The new one cakes up, has way less coverage, clings to dry patches, accentuates all lines on your face, greases up and doesn't stay on. I'm majorly dissatisfied with this reformulation and from all of the reviews I've read, I can see I'm not the only one.

The new Studio Fix formula is so different and much worse than the original. If you liked the original and are expecting the new one to be similar to it, do not waste your money! The new one will not stay on, it moves and separates all over and will transfer onto everything. It settled in every line and made my face super oily and after wearing it for a few days trying to get it to look good, without any success because nothing can make it look good , I broke out in tiny little white heads all over my face. It's just a terrible product now.

This new formula did not work for me. It's not like the old formula at all, and that's unfortunate. I wish Mac would have just added this new formula to their line of makeup and kept the original. The new reformulation is so bad, it creases, separates, doesn't stay on your face….it just doesn't do what makeup is supposed to do. It just looked so bad on my skin, I returned the bottle.

Dry, bad new formula

Seriously dislike the new formula , wish they would bring back the old formula. I had to change shade as it was not the same shade as the last formula. When applying, it dries quite fast and looks like sand on my skin. I also have to work quicker when applying this foundation, the old formula was way better and overall looked beautiful on my skin…. Now not so much.

The staff member seemed like he didn't know what he was doing. The foundation was orange when I wore it the next day. I tried to tell him this to help me find another one he persisted it was the right shade.

It looks beautiful the first hour after being applied. After that, it's very cakey & settles into lines. I do all the steps before foundation-moisturize & prime. I also use a setting spray. Will not repurchase.
