My last review vanished, so short and sweet: wood had a nick, black markings and obvious fillings. It’s also very yellow toned. (We tried to match Crate and Barrel Knox furniture which is more red.) Too many obstacles to overcome. Otherwise the designs is good on paper.

CAUTION: If looking at Dark Oak option, the actual color is not was is shown. It is more medium like the other reviews say. Seems like a good table other than that. Easy assembly and pretty solid. Not too heavy (even in box).

Item did not match picture the wood is lighter then all my other furniture and I won’t be able to use it where I want it. I will have to now spend more money to get the table I want. This was suppose to be dark oak the item I received is a light wood.

It's a decent table and was easy to put together. Negative about this table is that the color is not as dark as it appears in the picture. I wouldn't consider it a dark oak more like a medium oak. Go by the square picture of the wood as far as color goes....not the color depicted by the full picture of the table.
The wood looking texture was created by putting some white paint or something in the wood grain...the white stands out..but can be wiped down a little with a cloth
