I hate to leave bad reviews, but this powder is awful. Not only doesn't it dissolve even after stirring thoroughly in cold water, NOW tends to package some of these powders in these bottles with narrow tops which is hard to get any level teaspoon amount especially after it's half full.

Several commented that NOW’s powder doesn’t dissolve well and gets hard in water. Since I could only get the NOW brand, I found that by stirring the powder into the water vigorously and not just dumping it in, all the powder dissolves nicely.
Will continue to recommend to others!

I've been using this for a few days. It clumps very easily, tastes bad and the clumps can take 30 minutes or so to get rid of if I just dump a serving into a glass of water or flavored drink and stir it. I did find a way to stop the clumping though. I just very slowly sprinkle the powder into a drink and it don't clump.

I switched from Swanson's Magnesium Citrate power because the last batch lumped when mixed into water. The Now product does the same thing, the formula was changed, as I've since learned from complaints on line. I purchased a milkshake electric mixer, put the water in the mixer, turn it on then add the power and that is the only way I've found to mix this so that it is drinkable

Here it is suggested to mix 1/2 teaspoon of powder into 8 oz of water but in the bottle I received it says to mix 1 level teaspoon of powder into 8 oz of water. Also it is of different taste from previous magnesium I have ordered.

I like to take the powdered form of most supplements when available as I believe it's better assimilated. I haven't had problems with the magnesium powder dissolving - probably because I mix it with vitamin c powder and drink together. Excellent price for this product as well.

I take this morning and evening, stirred into a small glass of kombucha. That way it tastes fine and it does what I need it to. It's not as handy as taking capsules, but I use this because it's a little cheaper and there are no filler ingredients.

I have been taking the Now brand magnesium citrate for years. It relaxes my muscles at night, helps me sleep and helps with the 'go' in the morning. It makes me drowsy so I only take it at night. Stir briskly and drink quickly, then rinse out your cup or you will have very hard residue to scrub out of the bottom when it dries. It does dissolve better if it's in lukewarm water, but I think it tastes horrid this way, so I drink it fast in cold water, about half a teaspoon.

Just thought I'd let people know that comparing this to Calm is a bit silly... this is trimagnesium dicitrate... (Magnesium Citrate (3:2), not Magnesium Citrate (1:1).) Obviously it's solubility will not be as great but it's a lot more magnesium by weight (~42.6% more than Magnesium Citrate (1:1).) Excellent product at a great price. Thanks Swanson!

This is a good product for what it is, (magnesium citrate) but i tend to wonder if i should be taking separate mg but just stick to a mineral supplement that has all the minerals or at least most of them. Too many minerals can create a burden for the kidneys. It does help with sleep.

GREAT magnesium product! Citrus-y tart, sour flavor that dissolves in water easily with only a slight residual remainder (swirl the bottom when the glass is almost empty to get almost all of it), no unwanted ingredients, and the powder can be meted out in the dosage YOU need. Price can't be beat. What more could you ask for?
