The design of the bottles is really different from anything I’d seen before and I really liked that all the pieces come apart for easy cleaning. The self sanitize function is also really cool and convenient. The bottles and pacifier have cute little designs on them too. Unfortunately my little one has severe latch problems and struggles to take a bottle. This nipple shape didn’t work well for her, but I did appreciate the fact that even with all the broken latching she did, she didn’t get gassy. I think the design could work really well if your baby likes a flatter nipple shape. We haven’t tried the little toothbrush yet, but I like that it’s narrower than other ones I’ve seen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, thank you to Stellar panel for providing me with this awesome product! This bottle set and baby toothbrush is pretty neat. I love the concept of how it prevents air from getting into the milk, but my or rather my baby girl’s favorite part is the little teddy bear massage brush! The way the bottles work, having a gasket to allow air through the bottom is really cool and works very well. But it is quite a few more pieces than the other bottles I use, consisting of a nipple, top screw on cap, bottle body, bottom gasket, and bottom base. My biggest complaint is that you have to make sure the bottle is put together 100% correctly, otherwise it can leak which is no fun. The pacifier is designed really well, it has some nice big holes on the inside to make sure that you get all the water out after washing which can be difficult with other brands. But the absolute winner for this entire set is the infant massage brush! My little 4 month old girl loves this thing. First off, the guard is my favorite feature on this brush. I am able to move it to where it needs to be and it prevents my baby from putting it too far back in her mouth or chocking on it. And best yet when she has it she is NOT PUTTING HER FINGERS IN HER MOUTH! Rather she is contently playing with the brush and massaging her gums with that! It is amazing!

They also have a cool self sterilizing function using a microwave that made sterilizing easy. I was nervous about using the bottle because my baby has only breastfed so far. I was worried for nothing because she took right to the bottle and drank it with ease! She is 7 weeks old and used the 1 sized nipple and it was perfect. She also takes the pacifier very well. She’s not a huge fan of the massaging brush. She might just be too young for it still and it kind of made her gag. I look forward to trying it out as she gets older and starts teething. Overall a really nice essential kit to have!

He absolutely loves the bottles and the pacifier included with the set. I love the convenience of everything in one box. I really like the bottles and the design of them. My son immediately took to the bottle nipple without a problem. This was a big concern for me because thus far he had been exclusively breastfed. The pacifier design is smaller than others I have used but we still like it! The infant massaging brush is also very helpful. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a great starter set. My favorite component was the pacifier. The bottle design was a fair three stars due some flaws discovered when using. First off, the top allows you to screw it on incorrectly causing it to leak if tipped toward the baby when feeding. The bottom also collected water when used in the warmer. While using the warmer, it took longer than other bottle to warm the milk as well. These de things make it unreliable in our opinion. Our baby did Im enjoy the nipple shape and flow however. It was very similar to the pacifier which has seem to be a hit with him. We have tried others and he took to this one the best thus far, only 6 weeks now. We also liked how the pacifier was minimal and did not cover his face as well as a clear soft material. The infant massaging brush seems well designed and small enough for an infant to use. We plan to use it in the future especially when he starts teething.

Little did Stellar Product Testing Panel (who sent me this kit in return for my honest review) know that my baby was only EBF because I could not find a bottle she would take.for about four weeks I had been desperately trying different bottles to find one my little girl would take. Well, que music because this bottle and nipple has FINALLY broken my spell. I absolutely love the nipple shape. It’s smaller and flatter and mimics the shape of a natural nipple very accurately. I’m confident the shape and size is what changed my bottle luck. What’s also super convenient is this bottle is all setup to sterilize with no additional parts or contraptions. Yep, we are actually on vacation right now and didn’t have to lug a bottle sterilizer with us?!?! Now that alone deserves a gold medal. All in all, this bottle has been my hero. The kit also comes with a pacifier (we’re still working on that one) and a little massaging teething toy/tooth brush. The massaging toy fits great into her little hand and seems to make her very happy. I would absolutely purchase this product again!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the MAM bottles from the newborn starter kit for a few weeks now and I love them. The starter kit came with one 5 ounce and two 9 ounce bottles along with 3 different flow rate nipples, it’s definitely a starter kit that will grow with us as our baby grows. The bottles open into 3 main piece which are easy to clean without any special brushes. What’s more is that they are self-sterilizing bottles so after washing I measure out 20ml of water using the marks on the cap, pour it into base, add the nipple and close the bottle, pop it into the microwave and after 3 minutes it’s done! Switching between bottle feeding and breastfeeding has been very easy for my baby since the MAM bottles have elongated nipples with textured silicone. Both the bottle nipples and the pacifier are a good size for my small babies mouth, and she easily adopted them. One of my favorite parts about this newborn kit is the little baby toothbrush! It’s the perfect since for her little hands to home and manipulate into her mouth. The white guard ensures that she doesn’t choke herself, and ensures that if it’s dropped on the counter that the head of it doesn’t touch the counter top and get dirty. You can tell they truly have thought of everything. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this MAM newborn starter kit. It has made life with a newborn so much easier!

The set was complete with 3 bottles, an extra nipple, a pacifier, a massaging brush for sore gums! My daughter took to the bottle right away and had absolutely no issues with it. I’ve never used one like this before and it seems like such a smart design! The flat nipple is genius! The massaging brush is so cute and will definitely come in handy when my baby starts teething!

The starter kit is a great idea, you get a variety of things to try out before committing to a large number of things. The bottle part of the set was neat, it comes with big and small bottles for growing children and different nipple levels. However, this bottle design did not work well for our child. We found that the amount spit up was larger than other bottle designs we've tried (even on the slowest flow nipple) for our breastfed baby. We didn't use the sanitizer function, but loved that it was dishwasher safe. The pacifier was a win though, of all the Mam pacifiers he's tried, this one is his favorite of the designs. He uses the pacifier on a daily basis, so that was a win for us. Finally, he also enjoyed the massage brush while in his pre-teething phase, especially when it was put in the fridge for a little bit to cool on his gums. Overall, the starter kit was great to learn what does and does not work for our child before investing a lot of money into a specific product type to find out it he hates it.

I was pretty excited to try something new, especially as the parts to bottle were easier to disassemble and clean than the bottles I had been using. I liked that is came with 3 nipple sizes, a pacifier and a massage brush. I first gave my 4 month old the pacifier, since she has been hit and miss with them, I was hoping she may like it. Instead, she spit it out and threw it, not once, but twice. Not a fan unfortunately. Next I tried the bottles which didn't work too well. Perhaps it was due to having a formula making machine, that when I shook the bottle the formula went everywhere or the middle nipple size was too big. I tried giving her the bottle and she refused to try eating after it went in her mouth. I am going to try again with breast milk and smaller nipple size to see if that makes a difference. She does seem to like the massage brush, though, even with close supervision she has gagged herself a couple times even with the stopper to keep her from doing so. I think it will be something she will use more as she gets older.

As a primarily breastfeeding mom who recently went back to work, I looove this set! My daughter prefers the nipple shape which helped her take to the bottles quick. I love that the set includes different nipple sizes and bottle sizes to use as the baby grows! But by far, my favorite part is the self sterilizing feature which makes it easy to ensure that I sterilize each bottle and all of the parts after each use, especially when I am at work! It’s one less thing to do at home! The bottles are wide but as my daughter grows, she will be able to hold them easily. She loved the pacifier which matches the shape of bottle’s nipple for consistency purposes. My only feedback is that she can’t easily hold onto the pacifier. A larger handle for her would be a great addition. Since she is teething, she loves the infant massaging brush. She always smiles and grabs it when I massage her gums. Always a good sign! I recommend this set to all new moms. It would make a great shower gift!

At first I thought it was what he was eating, but then he rejected expressed breast milk and I realized it was the bottle. I received Newborn Starter Kit as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and the next day left the baby with my mom. When I returned, she had given him two bottles of formula with no problem, and the next day my husband have him another bottle. I love the wide nipples that mimic mom’s breasts and help him switch back and forth! I also like that the bottles open on the bottom to make them so much easier to clean! These are definitely my new favorites!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to try MAM Newborn Essentials Kit through Stellar Product Testing Panel. This set is AMAZING!!! There are three different sized bottles, different nipples, a pacifier, and a cute massaging brush. Currently, I’m using the smaller (6 fl oz) bottle so my husband can help with feedings. The nipples resemble the natural breast inside the babies mouth so there hasn’t been much confusion going back and forth with breast to bottle. The bottles are uniquely vented to allow air to leave so no gas is getting into my babies belly. The bottles are easy to disassemble for easy cleaning and sterilization. The caps for the nipples have a little tab which makes it easier to take off the bottle when ready. There’s also little grooves toward the bottom for easier holding and less slips. I love that the MAM kit came with a massage brush. We won’t have to search for one when our little one starts to teeth. I know it’s not important to others but I really love the art on the bottles. They fit the theme of our nursery. The binky (pacifier) is an extra surprise. My husband already love it. After reading this, I hope the pictures did some justice so you can see why this Newborn Essentials Kit is a must.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MAM newborn starter kit conveniently has everything you need for the first few months. It comes with different flow nipples and bottle sizes, so you have options as your baby grows. I love that the bottles are self-sterilizing and their removeable bottoms make washing them simple and painless. My 2-month old had no problem drinking from this bottle and seemed to like the nipple (he’s also successfully fed from other bottles). I did not notice any improvement in his reflux, so the anti-colic feature wasn’t as effective as I had hoped. There was no leakage from the bottle and it’s very well constructed and comfortable to hold. My son did not take the pacifier--he kept spitting it out. Still, the design of the pacifier is good and it’s a great size for an infant as it does not block the baby’s nose like some other pacifiers. It’s also orthodontic and compatible with breastfeeding. Pacifiers are a hit or miss with babies and unfortunately for us it was a miss. Like the pacifier, the toothbrush was not a huge hit. I wish the bristles were a little softer as they felt rough for a 2-month old. Again, the design is great – the handle is thin enough to be held by the baby and there is a guard that ensures the baby can’t shove it too far into their mouth. I think it functions better as a teether for us. It’s still a good product to get in the habit of brushing teeth/gums even if you just let the baby hold it and put it in its mouth. Even though my baby only liked the bottles, each baby is different; I think this is a great package for newborns. It gives you the option of trying different nipples, a pacifier, and a toothbrush. My favorite was that the bottles were 2 different sizes which helps when you have stored milk or giving options for how much you may need. I really like how they all come with lids for taking them on the go, as well as the bottom coming off for proper cleaning. Also, the design where it’s more narrow at the top is nice for a small hand. My little one like the nipple size and the flow. The pacifier was a good bulb size for the little ones. I tend to gravitate towards pacifiers with no bulb at the infant stage but my baby is taking this one great! I appreciated that there was a massaging brush included. I thought, “this is my third baby and I haven’t used this brand, why should I start now?” Not to mention, my oldest two never took a bottle so why would this baby be any different. Well, I’m not too proud to admit, I was wrong and I’m a believer! My 3rd born is a boy (older two are girls) and had to spend his first 5 days in NICU because he was “struggling to transition to extrauterine life.” He seemed like he was nursing just fine, but at our 2-week weight check, we discovered that although he was nursing and I was producing more than enough, he wasn’t transferring. My pediatrician recommended offering a bottle immediately after nursing. When I got home and saw the newborn start kit, I decided to try it, but assumed my son wouldn’t like the nipple on it. BOY WAS I WRONG! He took it immediately and later so well to the MAM nipple. I was thankful that the newborn starter kit included 3 different sized bottles and 4 different sized nipples so these bottles can grow as his needs grow. The bottom of the bottle coming off not only makes it ideal for anti-colic, but so much easier to clean the bottom of the bottle, especially when putting it in the dishwasher. The simplicity and practicality of these bottles makes them ideal! I also love the little scrubber brush included. Although my son isn’t teething yet, I can see this being a huge help when he starts as well as a great way to introduce proper dental hygiene in the coming months. I love how comprehensive this Newborn Starter Kit is and that it grows with your little one. Highly recommend it for any mom - whether it is baby 1 or 10!

She has had very bad reflux so finding a bottle that she likes and doesn’t spit up excessively has been a challenge for us. The MAM newborn starter kit has allowed us to try a different bottle. She wasn’t sure at first but took to it eventually. I love that this bottle has a self sanitizing capacity that allows you to add just one ounce of water in the bottom and add the nipple to it and sanitize it right in the microwave. This reduces the need for a big bulky bottle sanitizer container. My daughter already loves the pacifier so this wasn’t an issue to get her to like it. The infant massaging brush is a great option to have. Our baby has begun teething and this brush allows her to sooty her sore gums. Eventually we will be using the Mam infant tooth brush which we have used in the past with our son who loved it.
