These are exceptional and once I explain to others why these are a unique and superb product to safe guard against babies exposure to plastic - many people have said they would switch or give them as a gift. Why aren't they in many more stores with an explanation of why these are such as asset to anyone who may heat a bottle?

I bought this bottles thinking they were going to be great, I felt I was choosing the best and safest option for my baby and sadly I just find out that they crack from the bottom at less than four months of used and without being dropped any single time, plus a has only hand wash them with seventh generation soap so I still don't understand what happened and how? I think I'm going to buy the Avent real glass instead.

Nice bottle, but definitely not glass. plastic inside and out, can even squeeze the bottle itself and it misshapes as plastic would.

Love the implementation of this, however there are some improvements to be desired. Unfortunately, there are no pump adaptors that are compatible with this bottle thread, so one must pump into plastic or silicone, then transfer to these containers. Secondly, the stage 1 nipple is still a decently fast flow for newborns, would be nice to have a "premie" flow nipple like Dr. Brown's that is slower. Lastly, the measurements on the smaller bottles should have greater contrast, it's a very light gray. Hopefully someone will post a review if compatible adaptors come on market to update this review.

My 15 week old has loved these bottles since he was newborn. Choosing a good bottle for your BF baby could be so overwhelming, but my son instantly gravitated towards these & even helped improve his latch in my opinion. The hybrid quality of glass & plastic is wonderful & lightweight & very study.

We have tried a few different bottles and this is the only one my son will take. He is primarily breast-fed but occasionally needs to take a bottle. The gradual slope of the nipple was recommended by our lactation consultant and it has been the key to bottle feeds for us. The duel material is also great. We love that the milk only touches glass without the bottle being heavy and weighing a lot compared to other glass bottles.

This bottle is advertised as glass inside, plastic outside but the entire bottle is definitely plastic. The inside feels exactly the same as the outside, you tap on it and it sounds exactly like plastic. I was so excited and very disappointed.

I received the Chicco Duo Newborn Hybrid Baby Bottle Gift Set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I love it! Since my son was born, I have been trying to find a baby bottle that would work for him. Every bottle I tried for my son, he would either choke because the milk came too fast, or he would get frustrated because the milk did not come quick enough. This bottle is literally perfect! My son takes it happily, latches on really nicely, and because of the anti-colic valve, he seems happier after he eats as well! The nipple is designed perfectly out of silicone which creates a natural eating experience by imitating the shape, skin-like texture, and flow of a mothers breast. Besides the colors of the bottle which are so cool, I also love the hybrid glass interior and plastic exterior! It keeps the inside of the bottle clean and sterile, while the plastic outer layer makes the bottle durable and strong! This is an amazing feature which many other bottles are lacking. The bottles are also so easy to clean and put together, minimizing the time between preparation and feeding. There are a few downsides that I've found in these bottles. Firstly, when tipped, they drip pretty easily, and secondly, the designs and measurements on the outside of the bottle faded after being washed just a few times. The bottle set also comes with two silicone orthodontic pacifiers with a sterilizing case. I love the idea of a one piece silicone pacifier which could prevent choking, as well as the design of a completely clear pacifier which doesn't block the baby's entire face. Unfortunately, my son did not like the pacifier, as he could not get a good latch. Furthermore, the pacifiers are quite heavy, making it hard for a newborn to keep in his mouth. Overall, I would say this is an amazing bottle set, and a perfect gift idea for anyone looking for a great baby bottle!

I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This is a great introductory set. It comes with different sized bottles, two types of nipple flow, and pacifiers + case. These bottles are great for peace of mind since the inner material is glass and the outer material is plastic. The two different nipple flows help ease transition for when baby gets a bit older which was thoughtful. The pacifiers with a case was a great convenience. Personally, my little one found it difficult to get used to the nipples because of air bubbles. She is already used to a different brand with anti-colic inserts. If I tried this earlier on it may have made a difference. I really like the material and it felt durable. I had no problem with leaks. However, the way the bottom of the bottles flare out, make it difficult to clean with a bottle brush, hence lacking a star. My little one also does not take pacifiers so that was difficult to test. Overall, I think this set is a great gift for new babies since it is so convenient and the glass inside gives such peace of mind!

I received this bottle set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it is fantastic! Having a glass bottle was important to me for the safety of my newborn but the hybrid design made it even better! It makes it easy to take with you on the go without having to worry about it breaking due to the outside material. Cleaning the bottles is a breeze as well and my newborn has no problems drinking from them. Definitely would recommend if using glass material is important to you!

I feel very comfortable knowing that glass is touching what my baby is drinking, but there is still the protection of plastic for durability. These bottles are super easy to put together and wash. My baby transitioned to daycare recently and this bottle and nipple was absolutely her favorite of the several I have tried with her. Since she is only 5 months old, I am using a slower flow nipple now, but I like the option for a faster flow in months to come. I received this product as a member of the Stellar Product Testing panel, but I am so glad to have found a product that fits my family's needs so well. I plan to be a consumer for the future as well.

I used this set with my second baby so as an "experienced" mom, I know how picky babies can be - especially when it comes to bottles and pacis. This set would be an amazing add to any registry - it's stocked full of all of the "I didn't think about this" items like a pacifier case, two sizes of bottles, two different nipple flows and two pacifiers... because you can never have enough of those. I was given this bottle set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and while the glass/plastic combo is not something I sought out with baby #1 (sorry pal), the bottles are super lightweight, very durable and easy to hold. Plus the glass interior makes me feel much better about heating milk in the bottle itself because the plastic is not leaching who-knows-what into the breastmilk. The bottles are also easy to clean - only 3 pieces - which is so important when you're cleaning multiple bottles a day. Baby took to the nipple without a problem (we're breast feeding and bottle feeding breastmilk) and with no nipple confusion. Two cons - one of the caps was broken when I received it (but I have 5 functional ones), and the clear pacifier was hard for me to locate in the dark (because it's clear...). It does have a nice big handle so once baby is big enough to find and replace the pacifier on his own we'll be in a better spot. Neither are reasons to bypass this set - I highly recommend trying these bottles and wish more manufacturers offered the glass/plastic combo to protect babies and support parents!

I have a newborn son and was thrilled to get this bottle set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I also have a three-year-old daughter and with her, we tried just about every bottle available. Our favorite ended up being glass bottles, but they’re expensive, heavy (try packing a few in diaper bag!) and unable to be used at our daycare (so we had to use plastic ones anyhow). When I learned of the Chicco glass-plastic hybrid design, I thought it was genius! My husband didn’t even believe they were part glass because they were so light. After using these with our son, I’d definitely recommend them to other families. I really like idea of using glass bottles vs. plastic— our family uses glass storage containers for our food. Why wouldn’t we take a similar approach with our kid’s bottles? I also find them easy to clean (not as many pieces to take apart and clean compared to other brands) and durable. The nipple design isn’t the best (we get a little leakage if it’s not lined up just right), but since we figured that out it hasn’t been an issue. Overall very satisfied with this bottle set. We’re still in the 5 oz. size with the slow flow nipples, but plan to move up as our little guy gets bigger.

I received this set from Stellar product testing panel for free. I enjoyed using these. They don’t cloud like other brands, they’re very sturdy yet light and very easy to clean and put together. The lid seals the nipple up nicely so no leaking. All around great set that I’d recommend to any new mom

I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I really liked the bottle gift set. It’s great to get small and large bottles. I was so thrilled with how lightweight the bottles were. When I read they were a hybrid glass-plastic I expected them to be heavy. But they were light and very easy to hold while feeding. I think the design of the bottle was well thought out and easy to get even the last drop out of the bottle! The bottles cleaned very easily and the nipple snapped easily into the top. At a few feedings I’ve had trouble getting the cap off. When I used a burp rag I could get it easier (maybe my hands were wet!). My little has never taken a pacifier so we didn’t get to try it out. It was great to have two sized nipples to choose from. The smaller nipple of the bottle has a good slow flow, but isn’t perfect. My baby is breast fed and takes one bottle of pumped milk daily. She seemed to suck the air out of the nipple and I am forced to remove the nipple from her mouth for it to return to the correct shape. This was strange to get used to, however not a bad thing because we pace-bottle feed, so frequent breaks are encouraged!

I love this bottle set! As soon as I received it, I was instantly happy! The packaging is on point and everything arrived safely and unbroken. The bottles are beautiful and sturdy. I’ve since switched from the brand that I was previously using and loyal to, to these bottles! The glass makes me feel like I’m giving my baby something safe and free from chemicals, and the plastic makes is comfortable and lightweight, considering it’s technically a glass bottle. I love the practicality and ease of cleaning! They were very easy to put together and take apart, super easy to clean and disinfect, and I never had to worry about chemicals leaking from the plastic, especially after heating or leaving the milk out for a while at room temperature. I also liked the option of having different flow nipples to choose from, to see which worked best for my baby. The pacifiers were nice and pliable. I like the shape of the base and how well it formed to my baby. My baby seems to enjoy them! And it makes the transition from bottle to pacifier nice and easy! Thank to the Stellar Panel Product Testing Panel I was able to try this bottle set. The bottle gift set came with a great variety of bottles sizes, pacifiers and nipples. I like the hybrid design of the plastic and glass. It is not as fragile as glass , but has the durability of it. Because of the material I do not have to worry about my little one dropping and breaking the bottle. The bottles are easy to assemble and clean. I use my standard bottle cleaner brush and it cleans the bottles well. The simple design of the bottles don’t allow for any difficult places to wash. My baby does not use a pacifier frequently, but in instances where I did give her a pacifier she took it very easily.

I received the bottle set as part of a Stellar Product testing panel and I really wanted to like them but I feel they fell short. I did enjoy the combination of glass-plastic hybrid design, the shape of the bottle, and the easiness of assembling/cleaning the bottle but I did not enjoy using the bottle due to the flow of the nipple. The size one nipple caused the milk to not come out fast enough and the size two caused it to come out way too fast, causing a big mess. My little one also struggled with the pacifier and was unable to keep it in his mouth.
