Q: Is the curling bar included with the original machine?

A: Hi Gordon - Thanks for your question! The Marcy 150 lb Stack includes a Lat Bar that can be used with the upper pulley or lower pulley for separate workouts. This is part #18 included with the machine. I hope this helps!

Q: What's the wingspan(width) of the device including the bars? Also, can you lock them in place for storage/ space conservation?

A: Hi A - Thanks for your question! The Marcy 150lb Stack Gym has a width of 42 inches which is based on the lat pull down bar. the Press Arm handles have a width of 37" wide and unfortunately cannot be locked forward when not in use. I hope this helps!

This is nicer than I thought it would be. It does take time to put together like 4 to 5 hours. It seems very sturdy. We've been using it a lot. At first it's a little stiff but loosens up quickly I love it so far

We love this! We bought this home gym because between my fiancés blue collar job and I run a business with two active kiddos we couldn’t see spending money on a gym membership (to the one gym in our area) and not beable to use it! We didn’t have space for a whole gym setup so we bought this! And love it ! I believe it took my fiancé 3ish hours to assemble!

Very efficient space saver compact gym for home/apt. Of course it wont replace the gym, but gives you home access to a set of some basic and fundamentals exercises for your upper body and legs too.

Great machine for the price, my only complaint was there was some damage to the weight cover most likely from shipping and there was at least on place the finish chipped on the arm bars. As far as functioning sometimes the chain for the pull up bar gets stuck on the base for the preacher pad, but otherwise it has worked great.

I waited for the best deal of the year to snag my MWM-988 gym. Score! Received item very promptly! All pieces were there, with the exception of a couple of screws, which I also promptly received, but I put this thing together by myself! The instruction book was simple and easy to follow and when I got to the pulleys and was needing a bit of extra help, I watched the online video on the assembly and finished it right up. One piece of advice, when you go to use it for the first time, if something doesnt feel quite right, stop and check your pulleys! My pulleys were correct, the one in the very back jumped off, and it kind of scuffed up the outside a bit. Not an issue as far as use, but just make sure. Mine felt strange after a few leg extensions, and I didnt stop to see why. Been using for maybe a week at this point, and I am already seeing some definition in my legs. YAY! Gonna love this gym. Money well spent to improve myself!

This was the only weight stack home gym that would fit in my basement with 80 inch ceilings. The highest point is 78 inches and it slopes down to 70 inches above the weight stack so I was even able to slip it under the heating duck. Plus it is a great system with a smooth pulley setup. I definitely would recommend it to others.

I am mechanically challenged but was able to assemble the home gym in about a day by myself. I am 6 foot 1 and am able to do everything I usually do in my gym except aerobic cross training. The equipment is solid. I am very pleased with my purchase -- and the price was right!

I reviewed several weight machines both inexpensive and expensive. I found this model to be perfectly in the middle. I took all the components out of the boxes and laid them out. I then checked off each one and quantity to ensure I had everything. It took me about 4-5 hours to assemble but the directions were very good. All pictures with no verbiage. I have been working out daily for about 3 weeks now and the quality seems fine especially for this price point. Not disappointed. I highly recommend this product.
