I bought my son a very nice $320 bike for his 16th birthday not even a month ago. He had the bike chained up with this when it was stolen. Highly upset and disappointed. Will never buy a product from this company again.

Honestly not the best bike lock to get. It's good for a while, and then after a few months, the key slot rusts up and the number dials stop turning. It's good if u don't want to spend a lot of money. But not long lasting. 5/10

I couldn't set my own passcode and the preset passcode was 5252 which is very easy to get. I will be returning this item I am very unhappy.

I bought it and returned it the same day because I only needed to it for a few hours. But in that few hours it worked perfectly fine, the instructions are really thorough and definitely helped making it easier. I went bike riding with my friend and I didn't want to buy two of these so I just got one, safe to say it works for two! Only annoying thing is uncurling it after taking it out the package. And btw I don't think buying a 4 word combination bike lock for long term would be the best idea.. just saying

I can't believe a reputable company that specializes in locks is making this worthless piece of garbage. The locking mechanism is plastic!! So easy to just snap, who cares about to code when you can just snap it in half. So worthless!! It's not metal like it should be. This will be returned for something normal. Shame shame!

Worthless - the lock didn’t come with instructions on setting the combo, so I looked it up on online, but those instructions don’t work. Either the instructions are wrong or the lock is defective. Either way, this item wasted one hour of my life trying to get it to work.

Yes, this cable can be easily cut. If you have a nice bike, you should buy something stronger. My 4-year-old didn't want other kids grabbing his bike off the rack and riding it during recess, and this is perfect for that.
