I was given this knife set free of charge and return for an honest review and here are my thoughts. First and foremost I want to talk about the look I love the set because with the black blades and the black handles it looks very sleek and it matches the decor in my home number two I love how sharp and how efficiently the blades cut through carrots lettuce cucumbers they've been a blessing to have around the house. When I moved from my grandparents I left a lot of my good cutco knives so it is nice to have these. Another thing I love that the butcher block has extra space to put even more knives. I would like to thank MasterChef for designing such a beautiful little knife set. Thank you influenster and thank you MasterChef I appreciate it

The durability was present at first use, and the sharpness was precise! Thoroughly impressed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far these are great! One issue I had - maybe user error - the bread knife did more ripping than cutting. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve used a bread knife many times this one just wasn’t it. The rest are sharp, easy to clean, and I LOVE the storage. Small in size - see the typical wooden block comparison for comparison. Love the set of hat came with and the way the storage is set up. Easy to clean the storage and food doesn’t stick to the knives this far. These are easy to handle and easy to hang onto while doing the job.

They seem very durable. They have an interesting holder which has a spaghetti type insert. The knives do not have a specific place in the holder.

From opening the box, unwrapping and seeing the quality and craftsmanship of the knives to utilizing them-we are IMPRESSED!!!! Visually appealing and I have NEVER seen a knife block designed like this. The knives are sharp and sleep and cuts through steaks like butter. Got rid of our old ones to keep these!!

When I look at all the knives I like that all of them are uniformed with the same emblem and it just looks so polished. After I washed my fruit and vegetables, it was simple . The knife set is extremely sharp. It's sharper than most knife sets that I have used in the past. I was chopping up my vegetables and fruit so much that I accidentally cut my finger just a tad bit and it was hurting for a couple of days. Absolutely the sharpest. This is definitely going to make my prep when it comes to preparing meals so much easier for me to cut up onions peppers and garlic. It was so fast and easy I did not struggle with cutting up my vegetables. Now be forewarned that your hands do need to be dry not wet because the grip would be slippery and you will be prone to cutting yourself while preparing your meals. If your hands are dry, the grip is better when chopping up your vegetables and fruit.
