[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once unboxed I loved the vibrant colors. Each knife was very sharp and the weight felt comfortable in my hands. Cons; the paint on knives began chipping. I’m not too crazy about the knife block storage.

The knife block is interesting, the base looks like it contains a bunch and f straws but it really keeps the knives intact. The colors complement my kitchen . The set has a great range of knife types, and they are sharp!! I always forget how sharp a new knife is. I’ve only had them for a few weeks but cleaning them is easy, I wash immediately w warm soap and a soft cloth. The size fits perfectly on my countertop. Great set!

I have given them 4 stars because of three personal preferences. I wish I could put them in the dishwasher, the colors are a little bright for me, and I'm not a huge fan of the block design because I don't like a lot of plastic and I think it will be annoying to clean.

The master chef non stick knife set is extra sharp and high quality. They have a nonnstick coating and soft handle grips. The block is universal. They are corrosion resistant. It comes with a set of six containing paring, utility, santoku, carving, bread, and chef. They are colorful and so fun to use. I am definitely replacing my old set with these and recommend to others .

I would say that a slanted holder makes more sense than a vertical one though. I am concerned that with time the color on the blades will chip off and make me not want to use them on food. So far it has held up well, even when through the dishwasher. (About 1 month). Product received as part of a promotion

It’s not a block with slots, but a block with little plastic sticks all packed together and the knives slide into that. Works well. The color coding is also nice.

I don't know what's going on with influenster lately y'all, but every single item I've received lately has been absolutely fantastic! These knives are hands down. The best knives I've ever owned. I love the color scheme and the block is the first I've seen of its kind. Instead of the plain wood block that you just slide the knives into the available holes. This has some kind of black wires inside that you just slide the knives into the top of and it looks great. They're all super soft to the touch and they literally will cut through anything and have stayed sharp so far and we use them literally every single day. These are the best knives I've ever used. Period!

It doesn't have knife slots in it, just a type of hard plastic-like tube's that you slide the knife blades into wherever you like. The knives themselves are nice and sharp, cut all the produce or meats that I have needed to slice, dice, mince, etc. I highly recommend this knife set and block.
