Compostable cups made from plants! What a great concept to help reduce waste and keep our environment clean. These are also made locally. They say they will break down completely within 12 months and because they are made from plants, they will actually add nutrients to the soil and benefit the earth. Such a small way to make a large impact for our future!

Firstly, I’d like to say I love the color of this cup. It’s actually really lightweight and you’ll never be able to tell the difference between a regular solo cup and this. Even after having beverages on this for a multiple hours, they’re still as perfect as a brand new. They don’t bend or break easily so you don’t have to worry about spillage. Overall, I’d say definitely give this product a try.

I love these! We host a gathering at least once a month so we go through a lot of "disposable" cups. I can use these cold cups and know that they are compostable at the right facilities. I hope to see more commercial compostable facilities in our area soon. The color of the cup is versatile and the cup is indistinguishable from traditional party cups in every way that matters. I can't wait to explore the whole party line for our events.

I am really wondering if these are solo cups. They are very durable, well made, and worth every penny to buy. I really wonder how they break down in the environment once thrown in comparison to other cups.

The matter compostable cold disposable cups were great. When getting them I was worried that they would be lower quality than any of the other types of disposable cups I typically used. However, these were great, and my kids really enjoyed using them.

Excellent quality. They feel really sturdy but not heavy and they hold a good amount of liquid. I have not tested how well they break down but it does state it can be within 12 months. Excellent alternative to the regular disposable cups and for a good value.

Compostable drinking cup are the way to go. I for some reason always thought these would taste weird and they definitely don’t. I like the idea of helping the planet and the fact that these cups won’t cause hard to it is so bomb.

These cups are sturdy yet light. They hold the liquid well. Perfect for picnics in the park, backyard BBQs, birthday parties, and just about any event. They are recyclable too. The size is large which is good.

I received these products for free from the Hey, Bullseye™ sampling program in exchange for my honest review. I love that these cups (and the bag!) are sustainable and eco-friendly, and compostable in some ways. The color pops, for sure! The cups are very sturdy and stand up to icy drinks. I haven’t personally tried warm or hot drinks in them but I wouldn’t anyway. I also haven’t tried composting them yet but will definitely take them to my nearest recycling center, where they have composting.

I didn’t know what to expect when ordering these. I thought these cups would be some strange texture but I was pleasantly surprised. They are thinner than regular plastic cups but they do the job. They didn’t break and are sturdy. I don’t know how “compostable” they are but the outer packaging seemed like it would degrade overtime. Still not sure how environmentally friendly they are.

Love these cups! I love that these cups are compostable and unless you were told you would never know the difference from the ‘regular’ plastic cups you would usually buy! They hold up just the same and love using them knowing they are better for the environment!

The Matter Compostable Cold Disposable Cups - 18oz/48ct are wonderful disposable cups that you can feel good about drinking out of. These cups are thick and made so well. I love the color green - its a different green than you find in other cups. They are large and hold a lot of liquid too.

We basically live outside in the summer and I’m constantly giving the kids and neighborhood kids snacks and drinks. These work perfect!! They’re the perfect size. The fact it’s compostable and not going to sit in a landfill forever is such an awesome bonus and something worth supporting! Will be buying these from now on ❤️

This is a perfectly fine disposable cup for cold drinks, although some people might find the plastic texture a little odd. Not sure about the compostable part though. I cut a piece out of one cup and put it in my compost bin, it's been over a month and there is no sign of any degradation. I didn't expect it to be completely decomposed or anything but if it's going to compost at all it should probably have started to already. Don't put these in your compost bin unless you want a bunch of plastic in your flowerbed.

Solid cup that’s great for the environment. They are not too thin. I wouldn’t necessarily choose them over a SOLO or off brand that wasnt compostable but if you like to compost and are environmentally friendly then these are a great option.

Great sturdy cups just like solo cups. I was concerned with these being compostable that they would be flimsy and not as tough as they are. I’d say these feel stronger than the usual cup I’d buy. I’d highly recommend!

I love hosting and already have a compost pile going so this was the best of both worlds for me. This is a great sustainble solution to plastic cups. I love that the size and feel of the cup is the same as a standard plastic cup. This alternative feels like any other party cup. It doesn't change the taste or dissolves while in use. The compostable cup did feel thinner but didn't crack or break just as a traditional one. The box does say it takes 12 months to breakdown and does have a text box that states to use within 6 months of purchase. But none of these things are of concern to me. I already have 3 in my compost pile ready to breakdown. I really think these are a great solution and will be a staple product for our get togethers!
