I used this mascara for almost 25 years. It was my absolute favorite! I stopped purchasing it when the only color option available was black. I’ve looked for other mascaras that provided the same or similar results in the color that I need. I don’t understand why you had to ruin a good thing. Guess I’ll continue my search.

I have been using this mascara since it first came out. The formula has changed now, and it sucks! It smells like chemicals and it's sticky. The tube doesn't last as long as it used to, and it gets dry and flaky now. I have purchased it several times recently because I thought it was a bad tube. Not the case, and a huge waste of money! I definintely will NOT be purchasing it anymore!

I’ve used this for years but like many others, the formula change has caused me to have red itchy irritation on the corners of my eyes and my eyelashes are falling out. So disappointed.

Maybelline, what is going on with this formula now? I’ve loved this mascara for over a decade but have recently noticed that new tubes dry out quickly (after a week or two) and the formula now clumps and flakes. I’ve always loved this mascara for how soft and clump/flake free it was…Please look into this — a quick search shows I’m not the only one noticing this change for the worse.

This used to be such an amazing mascara — it was lightweight feeling and clump free. I’ve been using it for a decade. However, they’ve clearly changed the formula and now it is terrible! A new tube only lasts me a couple of weeks and then suddenly dries out. It clumps and flakes now! I am so disappointed in Maybelline and will be switching to a different brand altogether. They’re going to lose many loyal customers because of this formula change.

Used this for literally decades. Was the absolute best Mascara of all brands. The brush is unparalleled. However, after my recent purchase I noticed a horrible smell and it started clumping and flaking. Thinking I bought an old one.. I bought another. The same thing. Just searched the web for other complaints and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. Maybeline - please don't short cut this product. I promise you'll lose more than you'll save. Please conduct a formula check because something is very off. Now I have 4 packs that I've wasted money on and won't use. Please resolve this for your customers.

Why oh why would you discontinue this. None of your other mascaras have the same brush, consistency or go on with such ease. I was really disappointed to find out you discontinued the brownish black that is best for blondes and now us older women. I have used this product for years. Such a huge disappointment and again since your other products and brush do not compare, I will have to search elsewhere.

I was a die-hard Almay mascara user for years, but unfortunately they discontinued the mascara I was using so I went on the hunt for another. After a ton of research I finally found this mascara and never looked back. It does a great job lengthening my lashes while still looking very natural and subtle. It doesn't go on clumpy. I really love using this mascara and have bought it multiple times since using it.

I have been buying this mascara for 20+ years. The last few months I have been dealing with clumpy eyelashes, red irritated eyes, falling out lashes, etc. I thought it was an old tube because the mascara had hardened and it was hard to close. I bought a brand new one: again, the issues continued. I started researching and sure enough im so sad to discover that the formula has changed. Seriously, heart breaking as this is probably the ONLY product I was consistently using for 20 years. This new formula is a no go for me and due to the terrible side effects would not recommend to anyone. Actually I highly recommend to stay away. My eye lashes are just now starting to grow back now that I have switch to a new (and not maybelline) mascara. Sorry Maybeline but you shouldn’t have changed a good thing.
