Medela Purelan Lanolin Nipple Cream - 1.3oz

This particular lanolin cream made by Medela is by far the best all purpose cream I have ever used. It literally heals everything. Please don’t ever stop making it!

This is a good product great and safe for baby it help my soreness on my breast

I have to physically lean my whole body weight to get it out of the tube. That's not practical, especially for breast feeding at night. This is not a cream, by any stretch of the imagination; it's an ointment that is so viscous it might as well be a solid.

This has so many uses! I use this for my childs extremely chapped lips, eczema and so much more. Wish it was sold in stores still.

This was recommended to me by one of the nurses at the hospital. I like this nipple cream way better than the lanisoh. It’s thicker and soothes better. I also use it as lip balm and to prevent friction when pumping.

I bought this and put it in my diaper bag to bring with me for labor and delivery. Being a first time mom, I assumed I would have issues with my nipples hurting from nursing since I have never breastfed before. I've read the other reviews and glad this worked for others but my baby said ABSOLUTELY NOT! Without this product my baby latched on perfectly. Unfortunately, my nipples were so cracked and sore I had to try this out. After I applied it, baby refused my nipples and began crying and screaming. The nurse asked what changed, I let her know I used this product due to my nipple conditions and she said throw it out. Apparently this tastes bitter to babies and they will refuse the nipple and not eat. She recommended organic coconut oil since it's a natural antimicrobial and antibacterial. It's safe for baby and your skin actually absorbs it.

I swear by this nipple cream! I used for my other kids while my milk came in and worked great! Defiantly still a great product for my third baby. I love the thickness of this cream.

It is way too thick and hard. It’s hard to get it on as it needs to warm first. I love the medela tender care which I thought this was the same and it definitely isn’t. It still does it’s job but just too difficult to apply which is the last thing you want when you have sore nipples.

Purelan is the perfect cure for soreness that comes with the early days of breastfeeding. I love that this is natural and doesn’t have to be washed off before baby feeds!

I’ve been using the organic nipple balm, but it wasn’t working. I used this and I love the cooling sensation it gives and it definitely helps prevent cracked nipples.

I liked this product for the early days, but it does stain so be sure to wear pads or a shirt you don't care much for. When pumping, I preferred to line my flanges with coconut oil instead.

Lanolin did nothing for me. I tried again and again, but nothing. My doctor finally gave me APNO (all-purpose nipple ointment) and that was a lifesaver. When combined with cooling gel pads I saw significant progress that I never saw with this ointment. I now use the lanolin I have left for dry, rough skin, because what can it hurt?

Needed pure lanolin for my dogs nose leather. The brands for dogs were much more expensive that this product and it really worked well. My vet was impressed and will also recommend this product to other patients.
