MEGA MOTU Superhero Toy Building Set for Adults, Masters of the Universe with He-Man

Absolutely love my new addition to my mega collection with Snake Mountain, would have loved if the two different shades of purple were easier to read in the instructions in saying that still over the moon with the way it looks.

Master of the universe/ I have the power, love it. Some of the pieces was a bit hard to snap together but they all did connect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Snake Mountain is a massive set! The directions are very clear and understandable throughout the build process. The set was built at my home and it did take a considerable amount of time as the set is well over 3000 pieces. Some of the blocks did not want to snap together properly and took a little muscle to get them to snap together. The attention to detail in this set is spot on with the original design of Snake Mountain. All in all it is a very good build for the ultimate collector or fan of Snake Mountain.

Be prepared this set will take some time as there are almost 4,000 pieces and two huge instructions books. Our whole family has been engaged in putting this together and enjoying the finished results. This would be a hit for MOTU fans young and old. Highly recommend this set, it is fantastic!!

Be prepared to take a couple days to get this done. Instructions are a bit hard to understand sometimes. Will fit with other block sets. Fun product overall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy was opened in the theater room on the floor since it arrived in such a large box. The box itself was about or a little more than 2 feet long. From first opening the box it was truly an amazing presentation. It was perfect and had stunned us all especially for my 13 year old. The images of the toy on the box as well as how well packaged it was definitely added some shine to this awesome mega blocks kit. My 13 year old definitely appreciated how both sides of this He-man kit were separated into a section 1 and section 2 and how each section came with its own booklets. I will have to say, even though this mega blocks arrived beautifully it has been a bit of a hassle to understand the booklets and to be able to get the blocks to click together properly. My 13 years old and even I at times felt like there wasn’t enough steps provided within the booklets to achieve what was being shown, like if steps were missing. So be prepared to be on standby to assist quite often and for your child to take some breaks to complete this cool looking kit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is a massive undertaking. The instruction booklets (yes multiple) are large and the build takes multiple days. The biggest issue we had with the building was that it took up our kitchen table for days, and my son needed some help. He got a little bored but eventually got it finished and loved the finished product. I would recommend this product but be aware it will take a while and may require assistance for some builders.

If you’re on the fence about buying, just get it. The art and attention to detail is beautiful. Every level and part is well Detailed. Everything is well Placed and looks stunning. I built this with my child and he did need some assistance building it. There were a few challenges along the way. Overall, I would highly recommend getting this build for your kids or even if you are a masters of the universe collector. The mega construx line is well worth it and highly detailed and durable quality. I will definitely be buying more of this line in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mattel MEGABLOX collab on the Masters of the Universe Snake Mountain was a complete home run in my opinion. Right out of left field something not expected that was executed perfectly bringing the iconic Snake Mountain to a fun brick building experience. Even though I highly recommend this set to not only Masters of the Universe Fans but also to brick building fans there are a few dislikes or should I say petty gripes I have as well as a lot of things I truly enjoy when it comes to this set. Some of my petty gripes include the build of the gates, the bone throne and the tedious pink rubber worm builds throughout the set, these pieces are small, tedious and can be a little annoying at times and I just feel that the set would benefit tremendously from having these bits preassembled for you. I can admit during the first half of the build I became frustrated with some of those builds but it lightened up and was more enjoyable during the second half of the build. Now as far as things I did like was the overall look of the set once complete, the playability of the set, the figures are amazing and have GREAT articulation and great details and paint apps. The snake being articulated, the level of details are amazing. Great job to those at Mattel and MEGABLOX for a well executed set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an amazing set! It's absolutely huge with awesome details! So my son is no where near done, even after working on quite a bit. It's definitely a project, I love that he has something to keep him occupied! My kiddo loves building these type of things and he thought it looked awesome even without knowing the characters. He was thrilled to get such a big set and he and his friend think "it's one of the coolest builds ever" so he is really enjoying working on it in his free time. The entire box is huge and honestly, so cool with the close ups of the build that my kid is keeping the box. It's split into 2 sub boxes with an instruction book for each (each with an art sleeve) so that you don't have a ton of bags to sort through. My husband fondly remembers He-Man and while my son didn't know He-Man before, we have been getting more family time in watching it all together and helping kiddo build the castle. It definitely brought the set more to life for him. My son has had a slight problem getting some of the bricks to click together fully which can frustrate him from time to time and cause a bit of instability. And since it's so purple, it can be a bit challenging finding the correct pieces and discern which piece of which shade he's looking at in the booklet. I feel like some of the detail pieces on the outside fall off a little bit too easily as well while he's still building. We both thought the soft vines were really cool as well as the fact that a fair few of the spikes where on swivel bricks so they could be moved around easily to "style" as desired.

The packaging is incredible, from the photography to the interior artwork, and the unboxing is so much fun too, this team deserves all the praises! Now let's get to the good stuff and not so good stuff, the play set. The good stuff, the mini figures are so cool, they look amazing and this set includes not one, not two, but SIX figures! Snake Mountain is incredibly detailed, it's incredible to see how the individual pieces look like rocky terrain or part of the fortress. Really satisfying to see how everything comes together. The not so good stuff, overall, putting this play set was challenging, I would consider it an advanced build, not for the kiddos and set aside a serious amount of time to put this set together, lol. However, the final build it is extremely satisfying. Overall, the family truly loved putting this together. As an 80's kid, the pure nostalgia of looking at the packaging artwork and seeing the figures come alive in Snake Mountain is a true dream.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and I built this beast on our kitchen table. It was quite the undertaking, we probably put about 15 hours in over a one week period. It's very detailed comes with several MOTU characters. It was challenging for us and we play with a lot of building toys but totally worth the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start out by saying the details on this set are amazing. Once you open the big main box you find 2 separate boxes inside. Inside each of those boxes are several numbered plastic bags. Follow the instruction booklets very carefully. Only open a bag once you are to the corresponding numbered step. If you buy this for your child... unless they are an experienced excellent builder they will need some help. Help your child resist the urge to open multiple bags at once. My 6 year old liked to help me sort pieces. My 9 year old was able to build beside me, with some substantial help. My 12 year old was able to build some steps independently, and need some light assistance. The set comes with 6 detailed and articulated figures and a bird (screech). The figures look just like the characters I grew up with from the cartoon. As you build the mountain pieces there are fun hidden faces in the structure.. see my pics for examples. My kids and I both loved the rubbery texture of some of the decorative and detailing pieces. The snake body that wraps around the mountain is very solid once built. My kids were able to pick it up and move it around without any fear of it disassembling. One of my favorite practical features from this set... is the storing feature. The mountain opens for full access to each layer inside. This is great for playing and for displaying. You can store all the figures and accessories inside the mountain, as it closes, securing the inside pieces. Being able to close and seal the mountain makes it easy to pick it up and move it around. My husband who is a collector loves it for the quality and nostalgia. My kids (boys and girls) have lots of fun playing with it, and acting out their own imaginative world. If you love He-Man you will love this set. If you love quality builds you will be impressed with this set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mega Masters of the universe Snake Mountain was delivered to out home about two weeks ago. It is non-stop fun! The building set comes fabulously packed with amazing art work. Divided into two large boxes that kept everything well organized and easy to manage. The two large instruction books are glossy and beautifully illustrated and easy to follow. Steps are broken down by individually numbered bagged segments. Color coded as well to assure you place everything in the correct spot. I am impressed how sturdy and secure all the main components stay together. The intricate details of this set is impressive not only in the play set but the in the mini figures included. We thoroughly enjoyed watching this amazing set come to life, while Teaching our son how to pay close attention to the detailed direction. It was a challenge at first with all the excitement surrounding this set. Overall I felt the quality of the product and time we spent together building this as a family was well worth it and look forward to building future sets in the mega collection

First of all, I want to thank Mattel for the opportunity to review such a fantastic and perfect toy as the Masters of the Universe Snake Mountain Building Set. I was totally excited about this construction set and I really enjoy it as a 6 year old boy in Christmas! In a second place, I would like to apologize in advance for being late in submitting my review, but this is a toy that is so tedious and time-consuming to put together that you can't help but enjoy putting it together piece by piece and seeing the majesty of the final product. I want to make it clear that the most enjoyable part of a buildable toy is just that, the rewarding act of putting it together, piece by piece in a systematic order to get it done perfectly. The first characteristic of this product I like to share is that is that it contains all pieces declared in the second book and all pieces are very well done. Masters of the Universe Snake Mountain Building Set represents an iconic piece of the masters of the universe franchise and MEGA's motu toys have come to capture the hearts of young people who are new to the franchise and adults MOTU fans who yearn the good times when having those figures that we enjoyed so much as children but this time, in a new small but very well made version sets and action figures. In this review I share images of how happy it made me to receive this great toy so full of surprises and details. The engravings on the outside of the box are simply amazing and eye-catching. The first big surprise comes when you notice that the set is divided into two sections and each one with its own thick book of instructions, the first thing that comes to your mind is: “Oh dear, I have two great toys instead of only one”. Then you realize that each section is divided into two or three parts which leaves you with not two but five great toys in one set, totally awesome! The second characteristic I like to share is the way they organize the content, makes the toy construction easier. I congratulate all the people involved in the development of one of the greatest toys of the masters of the universe, the care in preparing the instructions and the detail of including each of the necessary parts to assemble the toy are simply admirable. Another detail that I want to acknowledge is that they add additional small pieces because they are the ones that can be easily lost when putting the set together. The third characteristic I like to share is that the action figures included in the set are so fantastic, especially the very exclusive versions of He-Man, Skeletor and Webstor. I am also very grateful for the additional iconic figures of Evil-Lyn, Ram-Man and Trap-Jaw because they are a must have in any MOTU collection. All of them allow you to create fantastic stories while playing by imagining really exciting situations that tip the balance in favor of the villains because they have an evil lair so full of unpleasant surprises that they can subdue heroes as powerful as Ram-Man and He-Man himself. It's really fun to create scenes where the evil Skeletor and his minions hatch their evil plans to take over Grayskull’s Castle and where Skeletor sits on his throne of bones giving orders to his faithful ally Evil-Lyn and the rest of the villains. But the funniest thing is to imagine a scenario in which He-Man and Ram-Man try to win the battle in advance by hatching a secret plan to meddle in the serpent mountain in order to sabotage the evil intentions of Skeletor and his henchmen. The fourth characteristic that I like to share is the multiple functions of the snake mountain and its movable accessories allow you to generate awesome situations that puts our heroes at jeopardy, and these my friends, makes a much more exciting games. Action figures and some sections of the serpent mountain posability are truly cool, the giant serpent resembles a dangerous basilisk that tries to eat whoever approaches the mountain, the spectral face of the mountain makes you think twice before getting any closer, the river of lava and the giant gargoyle make the mountain a truly spooky place. Also the mobility of the figures allows simulating the most epic battles between heroes and villains. Skelletor’s dragon blasters subdue his enemies and the sinister mountain, together with the powerful villains, manage to placate He-man’s fortress. As I mentioned before, it was very rewarding to assemble the entire construction set piece by piece, but the most rewarding part of all was finally assembling the five parts that make up the snake mountain. Once assembled, I have fun creating epic battle scenes and putting our heroes in desperate situations in this majestic snake mountain made with MEGA pieces. Finally, let me end my review by emphasizing how spectacular this new Mattel MEGA Masters of the Universe Snake Mountain Building Set toy is.

Make plenty of room on the dining room table this set is large! Webstor, Evil-Lyn, Trapjaw, Ram-Man and Screech all can be found in this massive play set. The 3802 pieces are housed in one of the most beautiful packages we have ever seen. High quality He-Man graphics not only outside but full color graphics on the inside panels of the large box. It is a collectors delight this package! The intricate details of the play set itself are stunning. Vines, lava flows, and the giant posable snake are all remarkable eye candy for you to stage your own battles between good and evil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All I can say is WOW! This set is absolutely incredible! And it’s MASSIVE! Its 2 feet long and has over 3800 pieces so it’s good to have some block building experience! The figures are a little over two quarters (coins) tall and for the small size are extremely detailed. (Trapjaws jaw actually works!) The walls are covered by writhing tentacles and there are tons of play options. I’m only about 1/4th of the way through and can already see what an awesome piece this will be. I always wanted Snake Mountain when I was a kid, this is what I always wanted, just a bit smaller! A must have for any He-Man fan!
