Q: What are the dimensions? And does it drain at front of mat?

A: The dimensions are 17.5 x 13.5 x 5.5 Inches. There is no drain in the mat, you will have to pour the water out as needed.

submitted byContent - 4 years agoA: The dimensions are listed on the Target website as follows: Dimensions (overall) are 17.5 in.(L) x13.5 in.(W) x 5.5 in(H) x17.5 in(D). The photo shows a rack that looks completely enclosed with no drain spout. I can only assume that the rack holds the water until it is poured out, unless there are small drain holes in the drain rack that are not visible on the photo. I have not purchased this item, I am only relaying the specs. given on the Target website. I am going to order this rack because according to the specifications it should fit inside of my sink....I hope it does anyway:-) If it doesn't fit, I will send it back..I always keep the packaging just in case a return is necessary.

I wish I saw the other reviews that the piece the rack rests on doesn't have a tapered edge that drains into the sink so the water collects and you have to keep dumping it. I'm continuing to use the bottom piece of my old rack and keeping this bottom piece to dry anything extra that won't fit into it

this rack is fine, but I mistakenly thought the drain pan underneath would be open on one end so that it can drain into the sink. unfortunately it has a raised edge all the way around and the water just fills up in there. I have to dump it out every day. The rack sits super low so any dishes I put in there are likely to be touching the standing water underneath.
