Melissa & Doug Deluxe Sparkle & Shine Cleaning Play Set (11pc)

This cleaning set looks absolutely adorable so I’ll give it a star for that but literally my 18 month old baby is able to take this set apart. It comes in pieces and has a plastic class that keeps the pieces together. It was a very, not well thought through plan for the manufacturer on this product. Definitely look for something different that doesn’t come apart and isn’t held together by a plastic piece.

Love the concept/idea they had going here, but the quality is horrible. The sticks since it is two pieces (mop, dust pan, & broom) are wobbly. Super wobbly. Not sturdy at all. It’s a super cute set though.

My daughter loves this set but after a month of on and off use, the mop has come unglued.

Multiple items broke inside or could not be used to build the stand. See picture with screw that cannot be screwed in. One of the sticks for the mop had broken so I had to superglue it myself to fix.

For the price that it is- I expected better. Not sure why the handles to the broom, dustpan and swifter is so loose and wobbly.

I’m disappointed that the broom, swiffer and dust pan come in pieces. They are aren’t sturdy like the traditional set. And the bottom of our broom came unglued day 2.

The handles keep coming off tried to glue without any luck. That being said, my granddaughter loves them and plays frequently with them.

I expect better quality from Melissa and Doug. The latches won’t latch, the broom bristles were all bent fresh out the box. Too expensive for what it’s worth.

The pole of the broom, mop, and dust pan are pieced together with this little plastic piece that my daughter can and does take apart and loose.

Everything is very sturdy and the stand helps keep everything neat and in place when it's time to put it away. Love love

These are the cutest and tiniest versions of the reals this and they are so detailed. My kids use their imagination and love playing with this. I love that it teaches them real life while they have fun.

I think it is great for toddlers who need to have a play routine to eventually build a great skill set. The sets materials are sturdy and very useful to put to practice. I would rather have my daughter play with something of the sort versus non skilled play sets. Overall great addition!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were so excited to receive the Melissa & Doug Deluxe Dust! Sweep! Mop! Cleaning Playset. We already had another Melissa and Doug cleaning set, but this one is way better! The most loved parts were the squirt bottle, the sponge and felt 'paper' towel, and the little red duster. The toy is really sturdy and made with wood, but also very easy to put together. It's perfect for my toddler but my older kid loved it as well! I highly recommend this toy! It's great for play but could also be used as actual cleaning equipment when you're teaching kids to help around the house!

My toddlers are learning how to sweep, mop, dust, brush cat hair off furniture, clean windows, and they even used the sponge on their pretend kitchen stuff. There was some assembling to do but it was very simple and I was able to get it all put together and set up in under 10 minutes. We like that the handle colors are interchangeable so we can customize it to our liking. The stand that it comes with makes it so easy to store and it doesn't take up very much room so it was easy to find a spot for it to go! My youngest particularly loves the broom and dustpan. She loves to do everything with mama and I sweep the floors alot. So with this, now she is able to help me every time I sweep. I like this broom much better than another one we had that made noises. This makes it toddler friendly AND parent friendly!! My older daughter loves the spray bottle and rag. She is learning how to clean windows with it. I love that you can actually put liquid in the spray bottle if you choose. I just put water in it so it's safe for my toddler. I would absolutely recommend this product! Kids will love it, parents will love it, and it's a great start to the kids learning how to help with chores!

My two year old loves being a helper and this has provided so much joy for her. I approached the quality of the pieces. There's not fear in anything breaking or coming apart. The attention to detail is so adorable! The paper towel roll (only one velcro sheet - thank goodness iykyk) and a little mister bottle that actually works. The best part for me is that it all has its place on the wooden storage rack.
