Nice Set that connects to an existing set wonderfully.

My husband had a wooden train set when he was little so he was very picky about what set we should get for our toddlers. He approved this one because it had the perfect about of curves, straights, bridges etc. We got the Deluxe set, the 22pc expansion and the set of train cars all M&D brand. I think my husband is more excited than the kids;) We absolutely love this set, it’s perfect for our kiddos and we love to set up tracks after they go to bed too. 100% recommend :)

Purchased this for our 3-4 year old granddaughter. She has always loved playing with wooden train sets but has never had one at home. This set filled the bill perfectly. It has some excellent components, such as the cranes, that really add to the fun and interactivity. Very happy with the purchase.

Love Melissa and Doug toys, but this isn’t it! The train has two levels held up by rickety little blocks that do not click in. It is extremely fragile to build and then you cannot play the trains on the tracks once erected. I’m not sure I get it.

Great set. However go to Amazon and purchase Sure track clips to help hold things together without needing glue. Otherwise the little ones will get frustrated with the track coming apart.

I want to love this but i can't. It looks great from a distance but it falls apart just breathing near it. It would be better if there was a way for the supports to snap on to the track to prevent this, instead of just resting precariously below. The slightest movent can knock the supports over and nearly the entire track collapses. Also, the magnets arent strong enough to hold the cars together when pulling the train fast. Very frustrating.

My grandson loves his train set. It's the best thing ever plays with it for hours. It is well-built and durable.

beautiful train set , but when its set up the engine doesn't fit thru the bridges, really disappointing for my grandchildren , they spent so long setting it up and it doesn't function as it should. the supporting blocks need to be taller or the engines less tall

The trains wheels on the engine 241 are two close together and won't roll on tracks. Disappointing for cost I paid for them

This is a cute train set but falls apart as soon as my daughter starts to play with it. I'm disappointed and not worth the price.

Absolutely wonderfully built ! My son loves it and he's 18 months!

The set is beautiful but it's hard to build and it falls apart at the sound of a door closing. It's very frustrating after you spend half a day building it.

I was excited to purchase this for my almost three year old, however when he played with it, even the slightest touch and it would collapse. We put it away until he was three in hopes he could maneuver it better. We have since tried it again and have the same problem. Even as an adult, I knock it over frequently. Our little guy loves trains and we no longer use it, as he gets mad every time it collapses.
