A: Although I have NOT purchased these blocks, I have read reviews on other sites that indicate a strong chemical smell upon washing - wondering if anyone else has experienced the same (?)

These soft interactive blocks are ideal for a growing infant. The blocks have vibrant colors and the material is durable with no issue with the seams. My 2 year old likes to match the pictures to create a car, animals, etc. Bonus, the blocks are machine washable.

Not as much of a hit with my 7mo-9mo old as I was hoping for. Maybe as she gets older she’ll like these more! Can be challenging to stack since some sides are flaps and aren’t necessarily stable/straight in stacking. Soft and high quality product nonetheless - we love Melissa & Doug products!

Regretfully at a month old the nephew was not able to particiapte fully and give us his full opinion of the blocks. His older sister was more than happy to carry them over and drop them onto his lap. Overall, his Mommy and Daddy were very happy with his gift.

Colorful, soft building blocks have many matching activities on their sides to keep little ones busy for hours! My 5 year old granddaughter played happily matching while her 1 year one sister knocked down all the towers. Great purchase!

These soft, colorful blocks are well designed. Your child will use them for a variety of reasons: make towers, pair them up to create the vehicles that are printed across two blocks (school bus, ambulance, etc), learn to count up to 10, make a small village, throw them into a basket for points, etc.
