The Melissa & Doug Ocean Easy-Fold Play Gym with Quick-Close™ storage is thoughtfully designed to encourage babies from birth to 9 months old to play and learn through multiple stages and ages! Sturdy, wide wooden arches are pre-assembled for easy set-up and offer caregivers easy access to baby. The arches stay secure on the comfy, reversible play mat with sensory ribbons and a crinkling peek-a-boo clam shell. One side of the mat features high-contrast black-and-white graphics for early visual stimulation, and the other includes a full-color ocean scene to keep older babies engaged as vision develops. Attach the included soft, skill-supporting toys to the gym or play with them independently! There’s a vibrating wiggly octopus, a chiming high-contrast turtle with built-in child-safe mirror, a double-sided, multi-textured crinkling sea star, a bright squeaking crab, and a chiming manta ray that rattles when it’s kicked. We're actually traveling right now so there's alot of set up take down happening so the more space and easy to assemble the easier. The wooden beams just Click into their spot, honestly doesn't get easier than that. Unpack and hang all the adorable little soft animals plus a pillow basically ready to go ! The matt is double sides with two different prints to suit your needs as well. Absolutely love everything about this play matt.

Literally, only takes like one minute, as the base has a button that easily collapses and opens the arch, and then the rest of the parts simply slide in and are held together by Velcro, so there is no fear of any parts being too small or metallic. I also like the design of it, which is also aesthetically pleasing and the numerous toys it comes with allow for a baby to experience different textures/feels (rattling, sound, or buzzing). Additionally, the play mat from Melisa & Doug also feels sturdy and well built that I feel like this will last numerous children, so if you care about the long term, I feel like this is one of those things you want to “invest” in.

It takes very little space and can be tucked away in a small closet when not in use. The best part of the product has to be that it's ready for infants. One side of the mat is black and white to help stimulate babies vision and once they are able to see better you can change the mat to the colorful side. The mat is also very soft and firm to help babies with tummy time. It's overall a good product to have during the first year.

As soon as he realized he could see himself in the mirror, he wouldn’t look away and even grabbed towards it. He played for 15 minutes straight. I absolutely love this for him. It was super easy to assemble, sturdy and safe. Highly recommend!!

It’s a reversible mat for them to play on with two awesome designs. Comes with 5 toys that can be attached to the toy bar or played with on their own. And the major selling point is the toy bar. Your average mat just has the soft flimsy arms that can only be used when attached to the gym and are awkward to store. This is a study wooden bar that can be used alone or with the play mat and in one click of a button it folds completely up and stores perfectly!!!! Must have!!

However, it is easy to wash off. I like the look and sturdiness of the wooden frame . I had this at home - so I didn't try to fold it. Even though it was extremely easy to assemble the colors are so pretty. My kids are enjoying their time playing on this mat. It will also serve as a perfect baby shower gift. Love this so much!

He absolutely loves all of the toys (especially the crab & starfish) and I love that the toys all feature a different sensory experience. As a bonus each toy, & the mat itself, are machine washable. I also appreciate that this play gym features an easy way to fold it up and store it away as needed. It’s also reversible & has a black and white pattern as well which gives you options based on preference or to coordinate with your home decor.

It’s so cool that the mat itself is reversible for different ages and color engagement. The toys are adorable and have different functions like vibration, mirrors and noises. I also love that you can customize it by adding or taking away the interactive toys. Sometimes she gets overstimulated by too many options, so I just attach a couple of the toys at a time. We’re using the black and white side right now but after she adjusts to it more I’ll flip it around to the color side. I don’t think she will be bored for quite a while which is awesome. It’s so easy to fold up and carry anywhere,I highly recommend it.
