Description
Put a new “spin” on a healthy way to play! This kid-sized play salad spinner with a wooden top and big button to press works just like the real thing. Put the spinner basket in the bowl, peel eight fabric lettuce leaves off a soft plush core, press and watch it whirl! There are no batteries or electronics – just pump to spin! Use the tongs to toss the lettuce with felt peppers and wooden tomatoes, cucumbers, and croutons in the clear salad bowl, and pretend to top with dressing. A double-sided salt-and-pepper grinder makes a satisfying “crunching” sound when it’s turned. Very good quality. Great for toddlers and kids for pretend play. Comes with a head of lettuce that has a Velcro so you can remove and add to the salad. Cute salad toppings, tongs, and a salt/pepper grinder that you can twist. And a small bottle of olive oil. It also comes with an activity card for your kids to follow and learn what you need to make a salad. I love how the salad spinner actually spins like the adult version I have in the kitchen. Great addition to the kitchen play area! Melissa and Doug products never disappoint!

We use a salad spinner, our kids have seen us using it, now they have their own version of it they can play with as well. It’s fun that it’s actually functional as well - they can spin the vegetables as if they were making a real salad.

She loved taking all the salad out and putting it all back together and 1 million different ways.. this is a place in my book for one it kept her busy and for two she plays with it every day so I am one happy mom.

With the help of his big sister, he learned to pull apart the lettuce, put it in the spinner, and push the button to spin it. He loves hitting the top button to spin his veggies! I love that it is well made and durable. The only problem he had was he liked to over stuff it and it would not spin. Since I gave it to him on his birthday last month it has been one of his most reached for kitchen accessory.

They are suitable for both boys and girls, a universal toy. Large hard vegetables that the child will not be able to eat. My son liked how the plate spins, it interested him for a long time. Safe for small children. A universal needle for the kitchen and garden. This game teaches a child how to assemble a salad from vegetables.

Love the salad spinner so much, it is cute decorative and easy for little hands to use. Such a great toy for creativity, fine motor skills. Overall it's fun and it lets them be creative and active with the salad making concept. Each piece is very detailed and just well made and crafted. You can tell thought was put in because of all the details it carries. I would recommend the investment if your child is into kitchen playing and food making.

It’s amazing quality and realistic like which is awesome because they both love to play kitchen and help mommy cook. All of the pieces are good sizes and not super small so don’t have to worry about any choking hazards which makes it very safe so it’s a win for me!
