My 3 year old has played with this puzzle off and on for about month and parts of it have already stopped working. This is extremely disappointing given what I spent on this present for my daughter.

There is no top on it once you open it. Little pieces go all over the place.... Some States are not by themselves, sometimes attached to something else. Don't really care for it . I should send it back, I just don't have time to do it.

I understand the necessity to group some small states together but was disappointed that some larger states were cut into two pieces and grouped with other states. I hope my grandchildren will learn the states and their capitals when they play with the puzzle. I think it will be fun and educational.

Love the concept! As a teacher, i was disappointed that some state borders are on a differentpuzzle puece! also, the sound for the wrong state is activated if you put the piece in the wrong spot ( ie if the North Dakota puzzle puece is placed on SouthDakota, it will still activate the language)

Gave this to my five year old great grandson for Christmas and his Mother tells me that as he learns from it she does too. Wonderful way to teach a bit of history to children as they learn while having fun playing.

Unfortunately the puzzle is very sensitive. When my daughter is completing this puzzle, it's constantly blurting out states/capitals that she hovers her arm over. We like it better with the sound off.

Our grandchildren love this puzzle but we cannot leave the batteries in it because it starts "talking" without being moved, usually in the middle of the night. One particular piece repeats the state name and capitol again and again... I would love one that works properly. My daughter purchased this and gave it to us.

Grandson 6 years old, loves it. Learned to recognize state shapes and the capitals. Was already singing the border of the US states. His 4 1/2 year old sister is also learning from it.
I have bought several and have given some away as gifts.

I use this product to teach in my homeschool. I love the sturdiness/ durability of the product, the sound feature and map landmarks and pictures. The only thing that would add to this great product, in my opinion, would be if it came with a case to store it in.
