Baggy, thick carpenter/cargo pants

Got these for my son-in-law to try. He normally wears a size 34x32--he is 6'2". These pants are a 36x32. The waist was snug for him and the length was actually too long. The fabric is a thick canvas and the knees are reinforced. They have several large pockets like cargo pants and a loop on the leg (for a hammer) like carpenter pants. While the waist was snug, the fit of the pants is very, very baggy. So usually if they are baggy, they are more comfy, but since the waist runs small and the fabric is so thick, they were not. However, the color was a nice neutral and you could definitely wear them as an alternative to jeans in an office or work setting. I'm just not sure it runs true to size so you might want to try them before buying.

Sorry for saying cute, but I’m a mom who bought these for her 15 year old son lol! They look really nice on! Thinner material. I know it says straight leg but it fits looser which is the style (high school) so my son loves them! Fits true to size as far as I can tell.

I ordered the 36 x 31 and what arrived was a 36 x 32. Buyer beware. The website is inaccurate. Pants are too long and I have to return them.
