This is a great mind-bending game for all ages (5+)! I would even say it's great for adults--so this a great thinking game to play together (parent and child). I don't love sudoku because numbers make me crazy--but this is essentially the same game with shapes and colors. Love it! There are a variety of challenges for different levels of learners. Once you get good enough, you could even create your own challenges. This game comes in visually-pleasing, bright colors that is sure to attract even the most reluctant player. It worked for me! This product is great for teaching logic skills. Very child friendly and easy to use.

I love how the instructions offer a wide range of ways to play and can be entertaining for all ages of children and even adults! It stays in our car to play along on road trips, dr appointments & church for a quiet activity when children get restless! The kids really enjoyed being challenged when playing it. I liked that it had multiple activities and the kids could pick what was at their level. The colors and design are engaging. This is a wonderful game you can use it in so many different ways. Well packaged pieces are small but durable . Great for on the go and gets the kids thinking & away from the devices for awhile. Love the colors and even though my son is almost five with autism I was able to use it as a matching game , worried on colors & shapes also tower building. I will definitely recommend this game . Great to use on the go, at church, dr appointments, restaurants or car travel. Loved that it came with lots of game options and can continue to be used by children much older than 5! I also like that it has the versility for multiple kiddos of different ages to work together to solve the puzzles.

This is a great mini version of the larger mental blox that we have. It is a great way to get kids to start thinking about memory building. It is nice that it's in its own case and every piece has a place. The pieces are small but durable.

I received this product as part of an incentivized review program. This toy not only entertains but, more uniquely, stimulates critical thinking. It is one of the few toys that I have found that was both engaging and thought provoking. I could almost see the wheels turning in my daughter's head as she played. The accompanying "instructions" suggest a wide range of activities, starting with the fairly simply for a younger child, and progressing in difficulty. Thus, a bonus: this toy can "grow" with my child. It is compact and packaged in a sturdy plastic case for easy transport. I can see this being a toy that endures, both for its solid construction and for its very varied activities.

Although students see this is only a game, it allows them o think and focus their attention on patterns and other problem solving skills. The product is sturdy and durable; it can withstand a lot of hard use. It is easy to understand, but not always easy to solve the puzzles! This product is a new twist on the old Sudoku puzzles.

I gave it to my 5 year old nephew and 8 year old niece to use for entertainment while they traveled cross country from CA to CT and then to IL. They both found it entertaining and challenging at times. There were lots of different challenges so that the game did not get boring. The overall product is neat and attractive. The colors are bright and clean.

I received this toy as part of an incentivized review program. My children love this toy! It can be played in so many ways and has their minds working to figure out the puzzles. Some games are difficult than others depending on the age (mine are 4yr-12yrs). It is very easy to clean up, comes with it's own cute storing case. I can easily put in my purse and have my children play and be entertained while we are out and about running errands. I definitely recommend this toy to everyone.

I received this product as part of an incentivized review program. This product is great quality like I expect from Learning Resources products. Unfortunately it just didn't keep my 4 year old and 7 year old's attention for long. They like it, but it isn't taken out often. I was a little surprised that it wasn't magnetic since it is an on the go toy. I can see the shapes easily falling during a car or plane ride.

This is the perfect toy to put into my bag and pull out at restaurants, doctors appointments and anywhere else where the kiddos have to wait. I love how compact it is and how all the pieces can be stored inside. My daughter (7) really enjoyed the sudoku type game and my son (4) was able to play the matching game without a problem. The box says 5 plus but it can definitely be used in different ways for the younger kiddos. I enjoyed playing it with them and learining the different games. We have a long road trip planned this summer and I know we will be using this game a lot!

I received this as a free promotional item and I have to say we love it! We have Mental Blox and Mental Blox Jr. and love them all. But this one is by far my favorite. I love that it fits in our back pack when we go to restaurants or parties. I also felt like even though my kiddos are 2 and 3 years old, I could adapt the games for them to play. For example, I would hide pieces and make patterns (which is in the instructions), but just being able to stack them and place them in the container kept them busy all through dinner. And what I love it that all the pieces have a "home" so if we were missing one, I knew to look for it and didn't have to count. This is a great toy for families that travel or just want to go out to dinner and keep their kiddos busy and not on a device.

What a great travel game and 'mind' game in general. My daughter plays this when she has used up her 'electronic' time for the day. This game keeps my daughter busy for hours. There are so many different combinations you can do with this game- whether you make up your own games or follow the multiple instructed games included. My 6 year old daughter liked to stack the shapes to see how may ways she could stack them until they fell, how many different ways she could alternate colors/designs, and played a matching game per the instructions to name a few. This game has a hearty case that fits tight so the pieces don't fall out which makes this an excellent choice for a trip, the car, camping etc. My daughter loves the bold colors and the fun patterns on each of the shapes. The shapes are the perfect size for any size hand. This game does get addicting once you start challenging yourself on how many different ways you can combine the shapes, colors or designs. I was given this toy as part of an incentive program. Had I not received the toy due to the program, I probably wouldn't have purchased it on my own unless I had known that this game would be as fun as it is and that there are endless ways to play. I would definitely encourage others to purchase this for kids of all ages. It's a great way to keep the mind thinking and moving without the use of electronics. I'm hoping that my review will encourage others to try this toy and find as much fun in it as my family has.

This was such a great game to take on a flight to entertain my son. Though he is not 5 years old but closer to 4, we were still able to utilize it as a matching game and tower building. It kept him entertained and was challenging enough for his age.

This game is perfect for kids of all ages! My almost 3.5 year old loves this game! She gets to practice her colors and shapes right now, but I love that it will grow with her and she can continue to play with it for years to come by doing the different challenges listed on the activity guide when she is a little older. She also had fun stacking the pieces and making different patterns in her stacks. I love that all the pieces fit nicely back in the box so clean up is a breeze.
