Meow Mix Burst Chicken Gravy Flavor Dry Cat Food - 3lbs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received this bag of Meow Mix, I opened the box and sat it on the counter and then walked away. When I came back not long after, my cats had torn a hole in the bag and were going to town on the food they had released! I was going to wait until their usual bag of food ran out before trying it. Well, a few days ago their food ran out so I decided to try out the Meow Mix. The cats were ecstatic! They all ate on it throughout the day and seemed satisfied. I was a little wary about switching brands because they typically eat an expensive urinary tract health blend, as my Siamese is prone to UTIs, but they seemed to like it so I left it. Within a few hours, one of my cats was vomiting the food up in multiple locations. Over the last few days since using the Meow Mix, three of my cats have been puking all over the place. They’ve never had this issue before so I knew this food was the cause. Last night I switched back to their usual brand, but they are still throwing up. I’m hoping that it will stop soon now that they’re back to the old brand. What seemed like a great product at first ended up making my cats miserable. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Gravy filled bites sounds great but was not worth it at all.

The ingredients seems to be nutritious. For the price I will be getting more to feed strays cats in my apartments complex. She really loves it! Good amount of moisture in the food, that makes it a better quality.

She’s a little picky but she likes this food. She empties the bowl and is eager to come to the bowl every time she smells it . The package was a good size bag to store for later.

The texture is still a hard kibble but it’s almost as if she is getting wet food mixed in. She loves it! I also have been dropping a few onto the floor as a treat when it isn’t mealtime. She is a big fan as she stands under the cabinet waiting for this little treat now.

This will be the only cat food I buy. Actually, I already went and bought some. The price was very reasonable. Worth every penny my book.

My cat has to take pill medications that taste bad, and will spit them out if I try to hide them in her regular kibble. The gravy must taste good enough to cover that up!
