[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had zero problems with this nailer. I prefer the pneumatic nailers for power. No jams. No problems.

I bought this about 5 years ago. I’ve run about 4000 ( mostly 3” ) nails through it and been very pleased . I would buy another just like it if I needed one….

Did tons of research on nailers for smaller household use - finishing basement, ect, this one seemed to be it! Had shoulder surgery 10 years ago and can't keep my arm up for long periods of time - this was THE or one of the lightest framing nailers on the market. Its much larger than it looks in the photos but its a framing nailer, its got some power!! The size still wasn't too much of an issue, i got into tons of small spaces and weird angles it needed to. This angle also let me use full head nails so I wasn't stuck with just clipped heads which I feel gives me a little broader use for the product that JUST construction framing. Its had 1 jam and was easy to fix, other than that, great little gun!
Gets the job down!

Very reasonably priced, good tool.

It really doesn't use a very large volume of air so a small air compressor, (less than 10 gallons) is all that's needed. Loads very easily and makes jobs go so much quicker and easier. I also own a brad nailer, same brand.
Light gun good power

My son has owned one of these for years and I kept borrowing his and I thought it was time to get my own. Got a great deal at a big box store so I nabbed it up. Came out of the box ready to use (with a little oil from me that is)

We received a donation of Metabo nailers to our building school. I used them with students, out in the cold and snow, for several months with no issues. Not too heavy, easy to load, easy user experience, etc.

3 lbs lighter than my other gun. That's huge at the end of the he day and being up on a steep pitch for manuverability. Is nice and well balanced. My first metabo ever and now I wonder why I waited so long to get one. Also a good price for the gun.
lightweight, useful, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this tool as part of a design/build semester class - it's been easy, uncomplicated work with no hiccups. Nothing really spectacular here - the adjustments are simple and easy to use and understand for both experienced instructors and helpers and inexperienced students. The nailer is powerful enough to shoot nails into frozen LVLs, it is lightweight, ergonomic (as much as a nail gun can be) and seems durable during the first few months of use.
Great Nailer - Wife & I use it for framing/Siding!

Great Nailer, Low CFM only one Jam in 3 years! My only major complaint is using 2i nch nails for siding - they stack up side by side just enough that the last nail shoots crooked when new rack is up... solution was to let the rack of nails run out before putting in another! Not an issue on larger penny nail like 3 inch & 3.5". Like the tooless depth adjustment!

Tested the nailer out. with a small 3 gallon 100 PSI compressor at the appropriate pressure for #8 nails,70 PSI. The performance was very good. I have other Metabo HPT nailers and all of them work great. I like the features they have. this one is no different.
Amazing power!

This freaking nailer is an absolute beast! My brother is a pro carpenter and recommended i get this nailer, and I'm glad i did! Its been a very useful tool, light weight, but powerful. It didn't come with a rafter hook but i got an after market one that takes this thing to the next level. Is highly recommend this to any pro, or diyer alike, you won't be disappointed!
Excellent Nailer!

I've used this extensively over the last 2 years, and I've never had a stoppage of any kind. It has fed thousands of 2 3/8" and 3" nails without a single jam. Highly recommended.

Well balanced and flawless operation unless trying to use multiple grip-rite nail straps at once (they bind on each other from the spring pressure)
