MGA's Miniverse Make It Mini Makeup Series 1

Before anyone comes for me, I have been making multichrome eyeshadow and lip products since 2022. I know what right looks like. The people crying about how their stuff came out didn't read the instructions because they were extremely clear for me. I'm talking about the instructions that have the list of makeup you can collect on the back. For those that need a visual for the eyeshadow, the bowl is how it should look while you're making it. It's not going to be finely milled since you're not using anything to sift it. The shadows need 3 drops at minimum, no more than 4. If you use too much, use a paper towel and gentle press it to make the paper towel absorb the oil. If it looks messy when you're done like mine does, take a q-tip and gently wipe with 70% isopropyl alcohol. It will look cleaner than my finished eyeshadow. You can do the same with the tamper (thing with the M on it) if you accidentally lift the shadow. You'll have plenty left over. Also the pipette is fine. You just need to wait til it deflates before removing it from the oil container. The only negative I have with lip oil set is that the bottle with the pigment and oil is too stiff. It would be easy to accidentally use too much. Don't fill all the way to the top of the finished lip oil product container or it will overflow. Leave about 1 mm of space just below where the cap screws on if that makes sense. Finally, if your kid wants to take cosmetic science to the next level, go to TKB Trading Co and get them the starter kits. Cosmetic science is a lot of fun and I wish I had this as a kid! My daughter got the eye shadow and when she added the oil to the powder it would just stick to the spoon and not mix or transfer to the eye shadow container. Lots of frustration and mess.

I bought this for my niece. She was so excited to make her own make up. However, there was missing items in our package, and we didn't know it till the package was already opened and items were used. Also, the eye shadow holder was not easy to work with at all. Do not recommend

I bought one of these for me and my 11yo daughter to do together. We received the red eyeshadow. We thought how fun! We started making it and the instructions say to mix the oil with the powder. It made a huge mess. We couldn't get it out of the bowl, into the space and then it was too wet to stamp. We are hoping that it will dry a little and we can stamp it still, but it looks like a mess. Did we do it wrong? The instructions were just vague.

Would not recommend - stinks so bad

My daughters and I got these to do together. We got a lip stain it and eye shadow one. We followed all of the instructions and could not get the product to transfer to the final containers. More lip stain ended up stuck in the beaker and transfer tube. They eye shadow stuck to the imprint tool and wouldn’t stay in the pallet. Very disappointed! My girls were so excited and ended up very sad that it didn’t turn out!

I really wanted to love this product, and I was so excited to get the lip stain. However, it’s impossible to work with. All it did was coat the inside of the pipette. I couldn’t get any product into the tubes. Unable to use. Daughter was highly disappointed.

We love these but this specific one is terrible. We got the lip stain ones and you can’t get anything out into the tubes. The colors are the same regardless of how much you mix together. We will not be purchasing this version again. It was a waste of money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh my goodness this was the best experience ever!! Making tiny little make up was the most amazing thing I’ve done in a while! LOL I felt like a scientist! The packaging was gorgeous! The tools came in little bags like you get from shopping! The amount in the tiny bottles was crazy it was definitely more than I expected! The little containers are definitely heavy duty so if you drop it is still good to go.. the only 2 things wrong was that trying to syringe all that product with the tiny dropper kind of sucked and took quite a while. The second thing is apparently I got red lip stain but when I made it it was like a coral color and a peach color, so I’m not sure if I did it wrong or the color expired I’m not sure. But overall it was simply an amazing experience, I had so much fun and now I have lip stains to use!!

Create cute mini makeup but it’s pretty small and messy. Still cute but not worth the money. If you like to create minis then it’s not bad.

They loved it so much and had so much fun with it. You just need to be very careful because obviously it has coloring and it can stain your clothes. Or carpet, so be very careful with it. Besides that, I think it's totally worth it, and it's super fun to play with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] MGAs mini verse remind me of the little mystery balls you buy. However, this is unique because unlike mystery balls you know you are getting some form of make-up product to make. This is perfect for someone who likes to collect little sets like this to display or have. The make-up is actually usable. The ball I got had nail polish in a red color so my choices were to make a bright pink or light pink color. Make it mini makeup is a fun experience and you can be creative with it. It even comes with a display for showcasing your mini make-up. It may not be a lot because like the name suggests it's mini but it's fun.

I got the lip stain and it was really cute with the bottles and everything but it’s nearly impossible to get into the bottles even with the syringe things they give.

The packaging was cute, and the final product was super cute, but in all technicality, those little bottles were so tiny. The main nail polishes mix basically was already nail polished mixing with a white color. I made a huge mess, squeezing those bottles as it was hard to get it out, then in squirted straight out. Bonus that it was a super easy clean up. Wiped right off with a wet towel. I'm not sure if I would purchase this particular one. It gets you excited to put the polished, but technically, you are just mixing them and bottling them. Not actually making them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the cutest thing I have ever seen! I have 4 daughters, 2 of which are into beauty like their mama! I opened this bad boy up with my 4 year old and she absolutely loved it. The packaging is just like the mystery balls all the kids love so it was super exciting for the kiddo. The quality of the product seemed really nice. and the ity bity bottles are adorable. I do with there were more colors of polish in the balls though. I was to get the eye shadow and lip product balls next!

Lip stain doesn't come out of the bottles. Don't waste your money! We tried squeezing out the lip stain into the measuring cup and barely anything came out. I popped the lids off the bottles so I could put the mini syringes into the bottles and still barely anything comes out. I added photos to show that we couldn't get much liquid into the lip stain applicator bottles. Complete waste of money. My daughter was so disappointed that they don't work. I can't stress this enough, do not buy them. Save your money for real makeup.

Horrible. Hard to make and messy to put into the little slots. We got an eyeshadow.

This made the perfect gift for my niece. She had alot of fun making up some eyeshadow to play with. Was it a little messy yes but I see a future makeup chemist in our future!

Don't waste your money. My daughter loves mini verse toys but this was not good. The eyeshadow looks nothing like the picture and the consistency is too sticky or too dry.
