Q: Why are these still being sold? It has toxic chemicals and the resin doesn't cure all the way, leaving it still toxic! There was a recall! Why are they still on the market??

A: I got the mandrake last month at my local Target. They were in the 2nd batch. There’s a separate cheat sheet for the pinholes. They are now sold out at my local Target!

These were so disappointing! If you are just looking at the supplies they are cute, but if you want to make the potion… it’s a MESS! The instructions have no words, the slime is so sticky that even dish soap wouldn’t take it off my hands. So very sad

As much as this is advertised as a children's toy, do not let your kids play with resin without adult supervision. Resin is toxic to breathe in and touch. It's generally safer when cured, but please do your research on resin before letting your kids play with this. And if you do still want to play with this, make sure you read through all the safety instructions. I understand the whole paper is so long and filled with words. To me, that tells me there is definitely something I should know about the item safety and risk wise. YOU HAVE TO WEAR PPE! This isn't a joke. It says on the safety instructions to wear gloves and goggles. The pictures I've seen on reviews for this toy show no one wearing PPE. This may be advertised as a kid's toy, but you are playing with toxic liquid. Please be responsible with playing with this and only play in a ventilated room or even outside. Either way, you still have to use the sun or UV light to set the resin. Other than that, it is fun. You can make it like a sort of science experiment with your kids by dressing up as a scientist. As long as you're wearing PPE and playing with this safely, then you should be safer. Now, if you're an adult playing with this, like me, just remember to also read through the safety instructions. I had never wanted to play with this toy before, but I saw Harry Potter and I had to get it. I made sure to take every precaution, and so should you. Please be cautious.

I bought two of these because my sister and I love Harry Potter. Since it is a children’s toy, we didn’t expect there to be resin and weren’t informed it can burn your skin. There wasn’t any warning and we handled it without gloves. Immediately after, my fingers burned and now have burns. It hurts a lot.

I bought one of the the Harry Potter potion sets and it all came hot glued into the packaging and was very hard to get out and it still all over the pieces. Which sucks it’s a really cute set !

I've purchased 7 of these Harry Potter potions and 4 of them were the pink love potion. It's absurd, especially at this price point. When you get something different, they're fun to do. But, they need to mix them up more in each box.

Always have a great time putting these together. As someone who struggles with being patient, these actaully make me slow down and learn a little patience. Absolutely adorable and love making and displaying them. Micro glue dots help if you want to attach them to the table for display purposes. :)

I got the Felix Felicis kit but my set was missing the stopper for the potion. I also had a terrible time opening the cauldron. Over all it was cute but could have been executed better. I won’t risk buying another Potions kit.
