To feed garden plants, fill cap to the first line and mix with 2 gallons of water. This will provide you with enough food to feed 20 sq. ft. of garden area. Apply by thoroughly soaking the soil around each plant. Reapply every 7-14 days. To feed houseplants, mix 1 teaspoon per gallon of water and apply to your plant's soil. I purchased this product for use with my houseplants. While the product did seem to invigorate them, I now have a mildew/mold growing on top the dirt. This is very concerning to me and I'm not sure I want to continue using this product.

Believe the other reviews that say it kills plants. I didn’t and used this. Within a few days my plants leaves started falling off and roots died. Yes I followed directions. I’m so bummed some of the plants were gifts and I’m sad this murdered them.

Buy this if you need plants GONE! I put the recommended amount in water & applied to my healthy Pink Splash (w/ strong roots). 3-5 days later, completely shriveled with major root rot. Kills faster than weed killer. Absolutely would NOT recommend to anyone.

This whole brand has killed several of my plants for three years in a row This is the third time I purchase this product and kills all the plants I use it on with root rot. The first two times I didn’t connect the dots, but this time I only watered some of my plants and not others. The ones I watered with this product died.

Used for 2 months - results were OK but but intermittent. I have now concluded that it is washing out fast so expensive when used with vegetables in containers that generally need watering once or twice every day in 30 to 36c temperatures - probably more suited to leafy plants grown in beds. VERY high in nitrogen but no dramatic growth. I am now switching to a more balanced NPK slow release feed.

Plants will not respond if it is too cold or if there is insufficient moisture in the soil. Slow-release granular products will give the same results as water-soluble plant foods ONLY IF the plants are being watered regularly. I've had amazing results with the Indoor Plant food for 2 years, but not this. Instructions are only for gallons, so i used the same measurements i use with the pump from the "indoor" bottle. 3 pumps to approx 2 quarts. I water 3, 8in pots of oxalis, 2, 10in pots of palms and one 6in pot of dragons tongue. Within days my 2 of my oxalis were almost dead, mottled with yellow- green and brown leaves and drooping; also my dracaena is mottled in brown and yellow. One oxalis pot has damage, but recovered with some damaged leaves still visible. No pests, no other desease except for minimal crispy leaf tips, but nothing this severe until now. The money tree and the dragons tongue survived without issues, but i suspect it was because the remaining fertilizer was further diluted to water them. I've flushed the soil and will go back to the Indoor Plant food, as this was too harsh on my plants.

The guideline on the cap of this product needs to be much, much lower. I am a master gardener and use only a teaspoon of this stuff and you need to regulate your cap line or your instructions.
