Description
Grow your indoor garden with Miracle-Gro Organic™ Indoor Potting Mix. This organic potting mix protects against over and under watering. In addition, this potting medium is made with ingredients to help your indoor plants thrive: coir to increase air space and moisture holding capacity, sphagnum peat moss to help retain and release water, and quick-start natural fertilizer that provides immediate nutrition. This product is also OMRI Listed for organic use. Great for seed starting, this indoor gardening soil is for use with any indoor container plant, including houseplants and herbs. For best results, select containers with drain holes. To plant new seeds, fill a container with potting mix. Plant your seeds according to the package directions, and water thoroughly immediately after planting. Keep the soil moist and out of direct sunlight. To use with transplants, partially fill a container with potting mix. Loosen the plant's root ball and place in the pot. Cover with more mix and press lightly. To finish, water thoroughly and let it drain. One 8 qt. bag of potting mix fills 2 8-inch container. While insects are not present at the time of bagging, they can enter the "breathing" holes in the bag (or through larger holes if bag was damaged) during shipping or storage at the retailer or after purchased. Some ways to help control the fungus gnats include using yellow sticky traps. Place them close to the location of the fungus gnats. You may also try to apply at least 1/2 inch of sand on top of the soil of established potted container plants. Larvae cannot burrow through the sand and will die. Sand should be left on the container for several weeks until the problem is solved. Do not apply sand to seedlings or if trying to start plants from seeds. This can damage or hinder seedling development. We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee. I dislike reading reviews where people were paid or “influenced” to write 5 star reviews. It’s inauthentic and fake. Things I know that are terrible and have meh or bad reviews are from the real shoppers and not those who were paid to give good reviews. So my review: it’s good, I like it. I will know in a month if my plants like it too. I like the ingredients and that it’s organic.

This was a new indoor organic potting mix that I had not used before and I loved it. I planted these plants a couple of weeks ago and they’re doing great. The plants were overgrown in some pots and not doing well and within two weeks they are thriving in their new pots and soil.

It makes from organic materials, so it is safe for the plants and environment. It doesn’t smell like heavy fertilizer like a lot of different soil out there, so it is fine to be inside the home. Definitely recommend this product.
