Mix & Match Rubbing Plates with 5 Crayons - Chuckle & Roar

Came broken and Target replaced ASAP in time for Christmas. My son loves it and it’s easy for him to play with this toy independently

This is a solid 2.5 stars. It was so close to being awesome…why did they not make these square crayons and a square crayon holder? And sell refills for the crayons, for that matter?! I had to buy a separate set of big crayons for this, which makes it just too expensive for what it is.

It’s cute but the crayons break instantly and can’t find replacements 😭

The kids had fun creating different animal rubbings with provided plates. The clip to hold the paper was a little tricky for little hands to use and the crayons broke when you tried to remove them from the holder. All in all, still a fun item to add to the art supplies.

I loved this but we were missing a plate. Only had 9 plates and missing dinosaur tails which upset my 4 yo as he says but dinos are my favorite. Hoping to get a replacement part.

This is such a fun set! We don’t even use the crayon holder- just color over it normally and then you don’t have the problem that others had. My kids both had so much fun with this (age 5 and 2). Encourages creativity and imagination which I love! Would definitely get this again.

This is a fun kit for little ones and parents as well. It has that nostalgia about it that makes you smile. We love the mix and match animals! The crayons and holder are definitely needed to be handled by an adult. I even had difficulty inserting the crayon and removing it... I broke the crayon. Luckily my son isn't too picky. It is a very fun concept, but a little pricey for the contents.

The perfect birthday present for a 3yo. The mom texted and said the 3yo and 9yo sibling spend an hour playing with this!

This is great for my 4 year old! My two year old loves using them as well!

Purchased as a Christmas gift for our art and animal loving 4 year old. We have a similar one in princess motif and this is a nice change for a while. Keeps them entertained for a good hour.

I love this toy. It keeps my little artist busy making all the silly animal combinations.

Adorable set. Sturdy for my rough and tumble coloring boys. The only problem is there are TWO plates of just tails for the dinosaurs. No heads. Hoping chuckle and roar will fix it for us.

The stencils are great but it’s impossible to get the crayons out of the crayon holder with out breaking them. Also, you can only use a crayon a few times before it’s rubbed down to the point that the sides of the crayon holder make contact with the paper.. which means it won’t work. Disappointing.

I highly recommend this. I bought it for our 4 year old grandson and he loves it. He played with it for over an hour the first day he got it. There was a piece missing and I emailed customer service. My grandson had the piece two days later.

This is a really fun kit. The only problem is regular Crayola crayons do not fit. You have to use the skinny crayons provided. Where are you supposed to buy replacements? Other than that, it’s a cute kit for young children. I’m using it with my 2 year old, so you can definitely be below the recommended 4+.

My almost 4 year old has been loving this! She’s having a blast mixing and matching the plates. Nice to have some non-electronic activities!

Well this was a surprise find! My 5 year old had a great time with the rubbing plates ... loved mixing and matching the animals! The storage bin is an amazing added bonus.
