[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using an over 30 year old knife that tended to tear up bread and this sliced like it was butter. I don’t know why I had not upgraded earlier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to bake bread and this knife makes them a joy to serve. The sharpness makes this knife stand out the most. Bread remains fluffy and intact with even the thinnest of slices.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works very well, elegant and precise. It has the same FC61 of the fancier bob kramer knives that I have! I love that

This is a great serrated knife. The handle has a unique design and is very comfortable to hold. The steel goes through a double hardening process making a durable and very sharp blade. The Japanese blade making techniques make a blade with a thin profile that is great for slicing bread, tomatoes, melon, citrus and anything else with a harder outside and softer interior. It gives thin straight cuts.

If you are looking for an entry level Japanese knife this is a good one to try. The Miyabi Koh, has a traditional Japanese looking handle that will actually fit comfortably in the right or left hand. Unlike a true D shaped handle, it will not roll for lefties. Although a bread knife is not typically Japanese, it fits nicely with the set.

This Miyabi Koh line is so beautiful. It is made from FC61 steel, so it will be durable and extremely sharp. The handle fits nicely in your hand too. This bread knife is great to have for any time of bread. It is one that not only works well, but is beautiful to look at too.

This is a must have knife, the bread knife, and if you are adding to your collection slowly, you can't forget this knife. It makes slicing those artisan breads so easy. Some bread knives tear the bread due to poor serration, but this serration just cuts through the bread like butter without any tearing. Super sharp and durable due to the FC61 steel and the special ice hardening process. I plan on having this knife for years to come.

A beautiful and practical bread knife from the Miyabi Koh series. Any knives with the Miyabi name on it is a superb knife, and the Koh knives mix both German engineering and steel with Japanese craftsmanship to make the best knives around. A nice, thin blade with the Friodur process applied, so you know it stays sharp, strong and corrosion free. The Pakkawood handle only adds to its beauty, comfort and functionality.

Super durable steel is the key selling feature to me with this knife. I want a bread knife that slices through my fresh loaves cleanly but it's also got to stay sharp. This new steel is extremely durable which is going to make this serrated blade last and continue cutting like it's new. It has a beautifully designed, wood handle that fits perfectly in the palm of my hand. Japanese perfection!

The Miyabi Koh line is both efficient and beautiful. This bread knife exemplifies that in every way. The bright FC61 steel glistens, the super sharp scallops of the serrated edge grip and cut right through even the crustiest breads and the graceful dark Pakkawood handle easily fits in the palm of the hand. Thee 9-inch length is ideal for slicing larger loaves and boules.

Stunning bread knife with a super sharp serration for an easy bite and smooth cut leaving behind very little crumb. Made from FC 61 this knife is extremely chip and corrosion resistant. Feels very light in the hand but is still stable to cut with. The octagon handle has a comfortable shape that feels secure and smooth.
