I purchased a pair of 28". I found a major design flaw. the top plate is made of MDF and sit on top of a hallow pole. After a couple of minor adjustment on the plate the center pole cut into the sofe MDF. leaving a deep circle mark and become unstable. I wish it at lease come with 2 big steel washers. Top and bottom of the plate. So it wont have this kind of damage.

The stands are very good looking. Just check the welds before adding sand. I added sand to mine and left for a minute and came back to sand leaking out of one of the tubes. Not from where you screw in the spikes but on the opposite end.
