This is an unbelievable deal for a 5.1 surround speaker system. I didn?t expect much considering the very low price but wow am I impressed! Unless you?re a true audiophile, you will not be disappointed! I?ve shown this off to several friends and they can?t believe you can get this sound for such a low price.

It was misrepresented as a system. I would not have purchased these speakers, knowing there was no amp built in to the subwoofer. So, I had to spend twice as much as my budget simply to have working speakers. Monoprice is a deplorable retailer. It shipped late, it arrived later, and it was not as advertised.

This subwoofer was designed to fail, which it did. The power transformer is mounted at the bottom of the plate, subjecting all of the electronics to excessive direct heat. Now all it does is hum.

This is my 2nd set of these speakers. I love my first set and after reading the comments I realized the main compliant was blown speakers. When you guys offered them for $20.00 less than Amazon with free shipping I jumped all over them. Since my receiver(Yamaha RX-V667) is a 7.2 system I figured I might as well take advantage of that and still have backup speakers in case one blows. If the woofer goes out I would still have at least a 7.1 system. I couldn't be happier with the setup I now have.

Amazing sound for the price. Very happy with that. I did not read the description with a fine tooth comb. My existing setup is all mounted on the ceiling including center channel. This center channel is made to set in front of the TV, no options to mount like the four satellites. There is an upgraded center channel that can be mounted. I guess Ill have to buy that. Overall, Im very happy, and will recommend. But I would have preferred to see this info be obvious in the listing.

I used to have Bose speakers for my 65 "flatscreen but gave them up on a recent move. I had been looking at momoprice for a while and took the plunge on this set. The sound I am getting from it is as good or better as the Bose - I run them through an Onkyo receiver - the speakers have been perfect (though breaking in) and the Subwoofer is much better than I expected for this price point. Very pleased so far!
