I have many NICE guitars ranging from American Fenders to Gibson , Gretch, Ibanez , Epiphones and Squires. I have 2 guitar techs that can do amazing things with even the "not as nice" guitar. This guitar came out of the very nice gig bag and without much effort became a very nice playing and sounding guitar. I would gig and record with this guitar. these pickups have a nice variety of tone colors.. I would buy another one but I now have 2. Its a great guitar for a small amount of money.

Would be a great guitar if it had better tuners and fretwork.

It's an amazing deal, especially for the $115 sale price that I got it for. At it's core, it's a very usable instrument. As you would expect at this price point, it's gonna need some time (and possibly, money) put toward a good setup. I have shimmed and adjusted the neck, re-cut the string slots in the nut, and adjusted the intonation. The 12th fret sits a bit high, and I will tackle that problem this weekend. With all that said, I'm quite happy with my purchase and am looking forward to playing it for years to come.
Great guitar for the price!

I bought this to mod, and for that, it's a great platform. Notes: 1-it looks great. Everything is well made and the tolerances are acceptable. 2-paint. Mine is white, and it's nicely painted, but a warning: the color online always seems to have an icy-blue tint to it, but that is just an illusion. I'd looked at enough other photos to know it was true white, though. So all good. 3-the pickups: shockingly good. 4-the trem: very stiff, which is fine by me, because I'd rather have a hardtail (or a Bigsby) anyway. 5-the fretboard: ok, I hate to be ambiguous, but the fretboard just feels weird. Maybe it's the frets themselves, but it's the only truly odd/disconcerting thing in the guitar. Not sure what to do about that. Basically, it's worth the price, and the price is determining what you get. You get a good guitar that's playable, looks good, and makes all the right noises when plugged in.

I can’t get my hands on one!
It's white not blue. But it's still cool.

Picture was a little off from my phone. It's white but blue. Other than that, it looks great sounds great! Maybe tuners not the best. Otherwise this guitar surpasses expectations. I would say it's better than bigger names in the industry. The frets need worn in, which I don't know how to explain there is a gritty feeling. In my experience this disappears after playing. I like the pickups! If it's not your flavor, change them. Love the offset look!! Wish it followed more like a super sonic or full on jazz! The main problem I have is the design of all these guitars that mimic the strat in some way. Be original make more design changes. I hate trems. Most players I know never use them. Stop putting them on every single guitar. Fixed bridges are cheaper too!! And all the crap trem systems give you terrible intonation once you use them! My two cents.

It's an amazing guitar that just sounds and plays perfectly. Really comfortable very lightweight and the tonal pallet it offers is truly astounding.
Great tone, fit and finish, a true bargain.

This has tone like no other guitar I own. I purchased to get a rosewood neck and it feels fine. Also it cost less than re-necking the strat copy. Positions 2&4 give the best scooped out sound I have ever heard. The neck was free from the jagged fret wire like on the strat copy. Great value, fit and finish with excellent pickups. Does it play like a guitar costing ten to fifteen dollars more; no however, for the cost it is a gem.

Shipping was fairly quick under a week. Box was damaged but guitar was not due to gig bag. Finish on guitar was almost flawless. However the frets were not. They were very sharp on ends, very gritty and a few were high. After a couple hours leveling rounding ends and then polishing and oiling fretboard looks feels great. While I had neck off I added copper shielding tape under pick guard and replaced tone pot with coil split as the humbucker was 4 wire a nice surprise. I also lightly sanded back of neck polished it and added roller string tree in place of cheap one on faceplate. After I got everything back together I intonated and reset height to 1.5 mms tightened tunners as they were loose and adjusted truss rod a little bit for correct relief, set pickup height. and finally polished body back of neck with Bee?s spray. After this complete set up and new strings 9-42?s I can say wow I have a gigable great sounding guitar. Not great for beginner without setup.
Very nice inexpensive offset.

Very good fit and finish, nice tone .I can almost touch the whammy bar to the body and it always stays in tune, unlike some of my other guitars.Frets need filing on the ends and the fretboard needed oiling.
Excellent guitar for the price.

I would have given it a four star but I just can't. Yeah the fret edges were sharp and needed some attention. But it stays in tune pretty good and also has a great sound for the price. I don't see any others putting out guitars at this price as good as the monoprice line if Indio guitars. Even better than the firefly imo. I have 7 Indio guitars and a few firefly guitars. My indios beat them everytime. Even the cheapest Indio line of guitars. The sharp frets were the only thing I saw needed anything. I'm not going to complain for the price. I'm considering getting another for my grandson since I gave him the tele style cheap Indio. He loves that one abd I use mine during live gigs playing solo when I feel like a change from the acoustic.

Sparkletone central. I'm spoiled by the OS40 DLX, but this is a very nice axe, a big step up (in playing comfort for me, at least) compared to the Strat-type Indios. Came with almost no problems, only burrs on the fret ends that cleaned up easy with some fine grit. Of course the intonation was a tad off, but not enough to jar.
Great value, great guitar

I received this guitar in a timely fashion, about five days and the box had no visible damage. The guitar looked great, i strummed the strings and all I heard was fret buzz. I could see that the neck was straight,so I loosened the truss rod less than 1/2 a turn and it was perfect. this guitar plays great, and I got it on sale for a killer price! The quality of this OS 20 is every bit as good as a Squire Affinity, maybe better. I'm impressed Monoprice. Thank you. Also, I'm an intermediate player, this is a great beginners guitar. You would be hard pressed to find a better deal.
Sweet jazzocaster for low cash, you should probably buy now. Better than bullet series fender.

Probably the best guitar you can get for $100 (when you can get it for that) I like the chubby neck on it and the action can be set very low, at least on mine. Pickups are versatile and raunchy!

I got my OS20 today, 5 way switch intermitting , doesn't work in the 2nd and third position not unless you wiggle it, Also every fret is is sharp, The A string makes a weird noise when plucked. I call support they said send it back. And they will replace it.. Who says I wound get the same on a new one. These are cheap guitars, That is what they are. I won't send it back, I have the knowledge to fix them, but a beginner wouldn't or someone that is not handy. Beginners it is better to buy form your local music store ( I don't mean big box store) they will set it up for you and they would check them out before they sell it to you because their reputation isa stake. Monoprice sells 1000's these, they don't care ..
