This cable features a standard USB A male connector on one end and a 5-pin mini B connector on the other. It uses 24AWG conductors for the power lines and 28AWG conductors for the data lines, for improved current carrying capacity. The cable is shielded using braid and foil shields and it includes a single ferrite core, which helps filter out electromagnetic and radio frequency interference (EMI and RFI).

Handy to have on hand. For some reason my students are constantly losing the charging cables to their calculators. (Well, four or five every semester - seems like a lot.) These work just great, and are affordable enough to give out as the situation arises. Great to buy in bulk; I'll probably be good for a few more years. I'd recommend anyone add a handful of these to their order.

Not only is it getting difficult to find USB cables for legacy electronics, most of what's available in the stores, with any type of connection, is pure junk, too. My cable was a simple replacement for one I misplaced. It's without a doubt the nicest, best-made cable I own. I'll be shopping exclusively at Monoprice from now on.

Replaced a Monoprice 10' cable with this Monoprice 6' cable, because the User Guide for my Canon Selphy CP1300 Printer recommends a maximum length of 8' 2". Although both work fine.

After reading the User Guide for my Canon Selphy CP1300 Printer and even though this 10 ft Cable works fine, I opted and bought the shorter 6 ft cable (also from Monoprice) to insure there are no problems with the Canon Selphy CP1300 Printer. The manufacturer recommends 8' 2" maximum cable length. 10' cable was too long and the 6' cable should work just fine.

Purchased to directly connect a PS3 controller to my PC and it works just fine. Be warned that 3 feet is... well 3 feet. And for my use it felt quite short and limiting. So double check your needs!

Got this short cable so that I could connect my wireless PC headset to the charging port on the back of its receiver/ base stand. The cable that came with it was 6 Ft. long and was a mess to keep tidy. This cable is just the right length to reach the headset while it's on the stand and remain tidy.
