I love how the mattes blend out effortlessly, and the shimmer gives just enough pop without being too bold. That said, some shades are a little less pigmented than I expected, and the shimmer works best with a fingertip or a damp brush. Mor fall out than any eyeshadow I've ever had. Glitter all over my face. "And new York Minute" looks pinky and mauve in photo but actually looks green and liked a bruise when applied. Save your money. Packaging is the only good thing.

I used my ring finger to rub eyeshadow onto ring finger. Then I used that finger to spread eyeshadow across the lid of my eyelid for the most intense color and evenly spread. The colors in this palette go great together. The shimmer really comes through. I was pleasantly surprised.

The colors on the New York Minute are much more neutral than the pictures show. They look purpleish in the picture, but are more grey in real life. I still like it and will use, but it was not what I was expecting and looking for.
