[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As we grow older our teeth are more likely sensitive to hard and tough meat. To have this tenderizer your meat for a few hours before cooking helps cut through the toughness of any kind of meat no matter if it’s beef, pork, or chicken. For me personally it also helps keep the meat moist and juicy.
Tender as can be….

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Full disclosure: Scale of 1 to 10 as a cook, I'm about a 6. But I can cook anything on the skillet. Especially proteins. I did not use this on a tougher piece of meat like a steak. I tried using this on a chicken breast first, and used exactly the amount the label suggested by weight of the chicken, in a bath. I had to throw the chicken out. Maybe this isn't used on chicken but the label says it can be. It tasted like the chicken was bathing in the Dead Sea. Tender...no. It made the piece of chicken extremely rubbery and dense. All I need is a large granule salt and pepper before cooking, and I've never had trouble with chicken. I also rubbed the Tender Quick into a pot roast that sat over 6 hours in the fridge. The meat ruined. Don't really need a pot roast to be any more tender, but I wanted to try it. Also, if it says 4 hours, evidently adhere to the label. Bottom line, if I have to set something 6 to 24 hours, why waste the time? You can throw large granule salt on a steak, sear it on the stove top and bathe in butter, then throw in the stove, and I can make it as good as these high dollar steak houses. It's not hard. And if you mess up chicken, then you're a total cooking noob. This chicken was so salty, I had to immediately drink a glass of water. I also ensured my chances of never having a goiter in my life... I believe all this product does is make more work of cooking. Maybe I used it in the wrong applications, but at the end of the day, it shouldn't take work. I can do a potroast in an InstaPot in an hour that tastes better than my grandma's. Rubbed with a salt/pepper/ and other spices right before you put in the pot. I messed up chicken. That never happens. A poor bird sitting in a chicken house gave it's life in vain... Maybe not though. Maybe a buzzard in the landfill is eating it, as there's no way the breast could have grown any bacteria on it... get to a pond QUICKLY, buzzard! I can put the seasoning on a 1 lb chicken breast before cooking, and it taste restaurant quality. I'm from the South, you don't mess up a good bird... Morton, you ruined my bird! This is a crime in South Arkansas. Final conclusion... What's the point? Use a rub on all your meats. Tender = beat it with a mallet and cook slow and low. I'm serious, that chicken could have bounced 3 feet off the ground if I dropped it. 100% chance this doesn't post to your site... Do I need HAZMAT clearance before I dump this in the trash?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Morton tender quick seasoning looks like a great product but my final results did not live up to my standards. The size of the salt grains in my opinion were too large and the seasoning does not premiate the meat as well as others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the tender quick salt for brining. This salt is great for that and dissolves wonderfully. We allow the brine to happen over 2-4 hours. We also use this to make homemade sausage as this acts like a great preservative.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Grabbed this up to see how I'd like it for pork chops. I make terrible tough pork chops and it seems no matter what I did, they were always tough. Along comes Tender Quick...YAY! No more tough pork chops! Just take s a bit of prep before I cook and the end result is a tender juicy product on the dinner table. What a lifesaver! Grab this up if you have tough meat that you need help with! It works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was always nervous to try to cure meat at home because I thought I would mess it up and it seemed complicated but with this tender quick from Morton I tackled that fear and its been a game changer in our meal times! I used this for smaller cuts of meat for our family of 5 but it can be used on large cuts as well you just have to adjust the amount you use and the time you cure it for. It gave the beast a great flavor and added a nice pinkish color. If you're nervous like I was this is perfect tip get you started as it's super simple to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this in making jerky (either beef, venison or goat jerky), and also when making sausage. I especially recommend it if you are going to smoke and dry your venison. You also need this if you are going to try to cure and smoke any hams. The best way to use it is to make a brine and inject it in close to the bone, before you smoke the ham.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you wanna make your own cured meats this is the Silver bullet. Put this on some meat let it sit in the fridge and you’ll be amazed. I never really knew about this process till I decided to try this out. You can Google there are lots of ideas online or just experiment with various meats. It really does change the whole experience of eating meat.
