My son got this for Christmas and he loves it! We did it together and it’s really fun and easy. The taste is great, better than some name brands. We’ve only done 1 batch so far and need to adjust some things but overall it came out really good. We need to figure out getting the carbonation better but the mixing and bottling was super easy. Great Kit!

I bought this kit for my daughter, she was doing great until it came to the caps which have the holes in the top, with the special seals that it is supposed to come with for venting during carbonation. But of course those seals where box in the box, so I had to improvise which as well was annoying. Then I also see in the instructions that if you go to there site you can purchase refill pack, but not if you live in Canada. I do not recommend this product nor will I ever buy it again.

Followed instructions to a T. It will not carbonate at all. Took 4 days to get firm bottles for us, placed in fridge for 24hrs. Bottles were no longer firm. I've even tried taking back out and letting them sit. The bottles will get firm but just do not have any sort of carbonation. The kids are not fond of flat Rootbeer. Seems like it's a waste of money and time. Wishing I had read reviews before purchasing.

The kit makes a full flavor old fashioned style root beer. The process is relatively simple and doesn’t require a lot of time. The natural carbonation creates just the right amount of carbonation unlike the over carbonated store bought stuff. My only complaint was to me it was too sweet. Sodas today are over sweetened like the rest of our food. Original sodas were not real sweet. I contacted support and found out I could reduce the sugar by 1/4 cup. This helped but I had to let the root beer carbonate a little longer. Mine is usually done by the second day. All in all it’s a fun project and cool that you’re drinking something you made yourself.

My husband has been raving about a yeast root beer he tried 20 years ago. I got him this kit so he could relive it. It did not disappoint! Rich and oh so tasty and easy with everything you need!
