Q: Is it normal that it’s so hard to drink from m? As an adult I can barely get anything out of it because the suction is so hard and my 11 month old child rejects it every time I try.

A: I had the same issue, but it turned out to be a small plastic piece at the bottom of the weighted straw. Easily removable & fixed the issue for me immediately.

These cups are cute and the idea of the weighted straw is nice, but they’re a pain to clean and leak constantly. They also don’t fit well in standard cup holders or travel bags, which makes them inconvenient for on-the-go use. I wouldn’t recommend them unless you’re only using them at home and don’t mind extra cleanup.

The blue and green one I ordered leak EVERYWHERE. The pink one I got a long time ago doesn’t leak like this, so I don’t know what’s wrong with the blue/green pair.

If you don't get the lid on just right (which is VERY difficult to do), it leaks everywhere. Also, because of its design, the straw is also nearly impossible to clean properly.

Welp, reviews are spot on about cleaning the straw. It’s a pain. A small thin brush is provided but it’s not easy and water can’t even run through the straw for thorough rinsing. This is a pass.

I would give this cup 0/5 if I could. They leak constantly around the lid and out of the straw if left on its side. Sometimes, you will flip the lid up and the straw will leak all over the place. Don’t waste your money!!! Buy the Dr Browns weighted straw cups! Way easier to clean and they don’t spill.

My Son loves this cup. The handles are easy for him pick the cup up with, no matter how messy his hands are. The weighted straw really works. Biggest issue is that the straw is nearly impossible to clean.

This was hard for my baby to learn when first using a straw. It does require a lot of suck strength. We tried a different cup with a wider straw and baby had more success. However, baby had no issue using it after solidly learning straws.

Wish I would’ve read the reviews before buying. The straw is kind of hard to get liquid out, you have to bite it a little but otherwise that part isn’t as bad, definitely not ideal. The worst part that I hate is they’re incredibly hard to clean, you have to almost pinch it to let the water get through, kind of like when blowing up a blow up toy if that makes sense.
