Q: Is this duck made free of all chemicals as in lead and BPA? I saw this was asked a few years ago and wanted to confirm....also where is it manufactured? Thank you :)

This duck has been our daughter’s best friend for months. She takes it everywhere, and it never fails to calm her down or make her smile. We were satisfied with the “hot” reader, but honestly don’t even keep it in the bath much since she adores it. By far and away her favorite toy! Sturdy and easy to wash which is a huge plus

I “tested” it in hot, warm, and cold water and it did not differentiate very well. Yes, the word “HOT” on the bottom turns a lighter color when the water is warm or hot, but turning it over to check is not efficient and it cools off quickly. It’s cute and can be used as a bath toy, but I would not deem it reliable to determine water temperature.

We love this little duck. This duck makes seeing the temperature of bath water so easy. You probably don’t need it, and can live without it, but it’s just an added safety measure to ensure your baby’s bath water is a safe temperature for them. Plus it is super cute.

I got this as a gift at my baby shower even though I didn't register for it. I'm so glad we got it, because we use it for every bath, even after 2 years. The indicator does work for us. We haven't tested the exact temperature, but it doesn't force us to make the water too cold, and it has shown us its too hot when it really does feel too hot. It's a quick and easy way to ease my fears about temp, and my son likes to play with it too!

If you want a rubber ducky, buy this one. We've tried them all. Don't waste your money on a cheaper duck, never look at another rubber duck again, and do not hesitate to add this guy to your cart. Cheaper ducks float on their faces, or have holes in the bottoms that breed mold. This is your duck. This is "the" duck.
