A: Misleading answer from Murphy’s Natural Team. Their label may not show an age restriction, but lemon eucalyptus and para-methane-diol are not recommended for children under the age of 3 per the American Academy of Pediatrics.

A: Our products are safe to use with clothing and camping gear. If you are especially concerned we would suggest that you test a small hidden piece of the fabric in question JUST to make sure it won't leave a stain. I hope you find this helpful!

I have not noticed that this product prevents or lessens the amount of bites I get. If anything, I think it makes me attractive to mosquitoes and biting insects even more. I would not buy again.

I purchased Murphy's Mosquito & Tick Repellent (eucalyptus & lemon) in a spray bottle. I used it once to spray myself and spray nozzle worked. After that the nozzle stopped working. It won't depress. So I have to unscrew it and manually apply it by dipping and applying several times. Do you have a fix for this? Or is the nozzle simply not up to the job? (i.e.. a piece of junk) I like the product but I won't purchase it again unless there's a solution.

I love Murphy’s products so much! I worked at an outdoor forest school and I’ve tried so many natural repellents, but this is the only one that works. The incense sticks are great, too! I can sit on my porch in the summer and not worry about getting bitten. Total game changer.

Mosquitoes are brutal at our house, and this is the only type of bug spray that seems to repel them. It has a VERY strong scent, but I'm willing to deal with it in order to go outside without being swarmed.

Mosquitoes love me, in a crowd of thousands they will all be biting me and ignore all others present, my friends remark on it often. No product gives me complete protection from mosquito bites, no matter how thickly I use it, an 80% reduction is the best I can hope for and this spray does provide that. And it is pleasant and chemical free, very important because on the days I am outside for several hours in this extreme heat I sweat everything off and I have to reapply at least hourly. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because spray does not come in 8 or 16 ounce size and sprayer did not work on one bottle. I bought 2, one for car and house, and sprayer on one of them completely inoperable, have to unscrew and pour into hand and spread that way, wasteful.

For a test, I sat outside and was bitten several times on the legs. I then sprayed the lemon eucalyptus oil on my legs and was not bitten again. Used it several times afterwards and wasn’t touched. Smells clean and not chemical, which is a big plus.

I live in Virginia and the mosquitos are horrible here! I’ve tried so many repellents and nothing has ever worked until I tried Murphy’s. The mosquitos literally fly up and then fly away! It’s really the best and no harsh chemicals. I’m a forever customer!
