A: Hey there, We suggest using our incense sticks in candles outdoors only due to the high concentration of essential oils used. For indoor protection we suggest our mosquito repellent balm or lemon eucalyptus oil spray!

A: Hi Chloe! Our products are made for outdoor use only. We do not test on animals. Since our incense products burn, it is especially important to keep them out of reach. With that said, since you are burning the products in an outdoor environment where there is a large open space it should be ok to use them while a pet is outdoors. Q: Will any standard incense holder work to hold the sticks??

A: No. The sticks are very thick. I had to shave down the end to get it to stay in the incense holder. You can purchase a holder through their website which is made for these sticks.

A: The Murphy's Naturals Incense Stick will burn up to 2.5 hours (depending on wind). If you do not need coverage for that entire amount of time, you can simply snuff out the end that is lit and reuse it whenever needed. You can also run it under water to ensure the flame is out. Since it is made of bamboo sawdust it will dry out.

These used to work wonderfully, but it seems that the company has changed them. Now, they constantly keep going out, no matter how many times the stick is lit and starts to smoke. They don’t work anymore, at all. Save yourself the frustration, skip these and try something else.

The smell is pleasant, the burn time is excellent (and they're easy to re-light after extinguishing in sand), and they've kept mosquitoes away! Will definitely be ordering more!

Seems like most insect repellents are little more than wishful thinking, these are very effective. The container used to come with a little ceramic holder for the sticks, it wasn’t necessary though, and if it keeps the price where it is, that’s fine. A must-have for me in the warmer months.

Working around the grill on the back deck has been made much more pleasant with the addition of these mosquito repelling incense sticks. Each stick burns for about 3 hrs and wards off the mosquitoes for the entire duration.
